  • As to the wig, the Talmud dictates that married women shall, out of modesty because hair is so sensual, cover their hair and observent orthodox Jewish women do so with a hat, scarf or wig. Many observent Jewish women, when in public, cover their hair with wigs from the day they are married to the grave.

    As to the violin playing -- her first recordings were back in the day of 78 rpm shellac recordings and here she is playing beautifully and musically and with such energy in 2006. Wow.
