  • it is alright to cry but funny behind the scenes story.. I'm the little girl in the pig tails when they say "or not very dry" and I was crying because i thought I peed my pants but it was really the guy holding the hose not paying attention so he sprayed me and i cried they, of course, took advantage of that and said she's crying let's shoot now! haha i'll never forget this :)tpiman I'm so glad you posted this video :) good memories when life was a lot easier

  • @FindTheStrength SOO CUTE!

  • @FindTheStrength So why are you crying?

  • I would cry when I saw this.

I was only about 4 or 5. LOL

  • When I was in Kindergarten,I Cried when I fell on the right side of my knee getting off the bus coming home from school!

  • Almost 20 years, and this song still sends a very comforting message no matter how old you are: It's okay to cry no matter if your 6, 16, or 60, or even if your a man or a woman! And you don't even have to be sad, angry, hungrey or heartbroken, you can even be happy or overjoyed too! Bottom line is that it's only human to cry!

  • Johnny Seaton sang this? Strange. I feel like it's sung by Elvis.

  • LOVE IT!!

  • wen this song came on i cryed my popa shout him self my mom maed me feel better i usto cry all the time

  • My dad called me a queer when I cried...

  • @Revanchist12 Aww I'm terribly sorry! That's just wrong on so many levels! No father should ever call his own child such a vindictive name just for crying!

  • It is a bit pathetic to cry at movies, but apart from that nice video. Love the message of the song.

  • The thirteen people who disliked this song are souless machines. It doesn't matter what age you are or gender. Not allowing someone to cry by calling them a "cry baby" or a "woman" are both sexist and agist comments.

  • @Ryofire I totally agree. I respect and value a man who can cry and share his emotions.

  • This one made me cry as a little kid. Now I just wanna give those kids a hug! :(

  • @pamlovsy2j If someone in your family or a friend of yours dies, it's okay to cry in a situation

  • @pamlovsy2j If someone in your family or a friend of yours dies, it's okay to cry in a situation

  • @pamlovsy2j I remember as the second skit of Episode #3977, which began with Big Bird crying at (what used to be) his nest -- now absolutely totalled! This Hurricane Week on Sesame Street (#3976 thru #3980) from 2001 was the last set of episodes make before that -- ugh! -- complete makeover (as of Episode #3981 -- February 4, 2002 -- the fire at Hooper's). Well, thank God for YouTube!

  • I take it all the guys in the grown-ups can cry scene were also crying watching the movie. But it's crying out of BOREDOM!

  • @KingSlifer If it's the sort of movie you are implying it is, I would be crying out of boredom- and I am a woman.

  • i miss those days :(

  • This encorages temper tantrums.

  • Temper tantrums are not the same thing.

  • @Nintendog140 No, it doesn't. There's a difference between crying and temper tantrums.

  • So true.

  • A man is a man because he can cry.

  • @DracoArum very true. I had to put an injured bird out of its misery once, and boy did I cry after :(

  • The entertainer that recorded this song for Sesame Street is Johnny Seaton. A world renowned entertainer. He is most famous for his vocal talents and physical resemblence to Elvis Presley. I have seen him perform and it truly takes your breath away! If you have an opportunity, go see one of his shows. Beware, the crowds go crazy! Thanks for sharing this video

  • I love this song. When I was little, me and my sisters used to make fun of the girl who was "not very dry" saying she had peed her pants. Haha, we were so immature.
