Great Video. I never fired a Glock 21, but I once train LEOs on the .40 G22 and 23. The Glock is not a as fun to shoot as a 1911-type, but it is definitely an easy gun to teach, very reliable and just as accurate as any out there. I currently carry either a Colt Officer's ACP or a full size 1911 because of their thin profile. I heard that the Gen 4 series shoots smoother and that may mean other members of the family could use it. Concealability might be an issue though. Decisions, decisions ...

it isn't a price on my life I know I can shoot just as well with it as I can with any other weapon, you have to think 3 yards or less. That is the distance that most civilian gunfights happen. As long as your weapon will cycle if you cant hit something at 3 yards or less then maybe you shouldn't own any gun.

Thanks for the tip, Hickok! I wasn't even aware Glock issued a voluntary recall of virtually all Gen 4 Recoil Spring Assemblies (RSA). It's not even posted at their website. I ended up calling them and it's legit.

I think the recall is for all Gen 4s made before mid-summer 2011 except for the models 26 and model 27. According to the woman I talked to, the new RSA has a metal core and front plug. Mine should arrive in 2 wks, at which time I send in my old one.

@shadowvortx I actually own a hi point cf380 and I can shot the bullseye put at 10 yards with it. Yes they are very low class weapons but I would trust mine with my life. When I do open carry I have no problem with it on my side. You just have to keep them clean like a AR.

I have watched all of your videos, I have seen you shoot extremely well with a varity of high end weapons, why dont you try a cheaper firearm that us poor folk are stuck with. Why dont you try out a hi point, just to see what we get stuck with. It may be bettet than what you may think!

@jmann9985 I don't know if I'd go so far so say that any glock qualifies as "high end", I think of them as more middle of the road as far as price/performance goes. I'm not sure why anyone would want to buy a hi point, though they do work, for a little more money you can get into a much higher quality and versatile weapon (keltec comes to mind, which hickok45 has a video on)

I don't think Glock should be considered "high end" by aby stretch of the imagination. they are "high value", meaning you get a great weapon for a decent price. Ed Brown, Nighthawk Custom etc. are high end guns, as they cost over 2,000 bucks in many instances. I would consider myself one of the poor folks, and its no way I would carry a hi-point. I carry a S&W M&P .40, and i love it.

I have not warmed up to the Gen 4's yet. A lot of the after market items don't work in them. I'll stick with the 3's till the manufacturers catch up to Glock.

Im torn between the Glock 26 and the Glock 30, like the power of the G30's .45, and i already have a .45 so i don't have to gear up for a new caliber. But I like the G26's capacity options, and ease of concealed carry, but i do not, own a 9mm so i would have to gear up for the new caliber. which ever i choose would be used for concealed carry, and plinking. decisions decisions...

@graysmoke89, We all go thought that. I love the .45 ACP, as you can probably tell, and I have lots of guns in that caliber that I shoot pretty often. For carry, though, there are lots of things to consider, size and weight being almost as important as caliber, within reason. After all, we'd all carry .44 Magnum if it were not so large and heavy. Also, as good as the .45 ACP cartridge is, I'm not convinced there's much difference in effect between it and a good .40 HP bullet.
