  • The irony here is so painful.

  • you know you have hit rock bottom when your told that by Bill O'Reilly.

  • o'reily is the least insane person in the asylum

  • And the Pot said to the Kettle: "you are the color black."

  • even if i agree with bill`o statement here who is he too say that becaus he made plently of other statments that contratict that one

  • @SuperAnonymousJoe : You're on the progressive-liberal-leftist party train and don't even realize it, moron.

  • @SuperAnonymousJoe : Oh sure. Sean Penn who called Bush a murderer says that journalists who call Chavez a tyrant should go to prison isn't a pinhead. You're all calling O'Reilly worse. It's par for the course. I'm sure you're all defending Chris Matthews on his YouTube videos while people like me are calling him the names he richly deserves.

  • @Gazzara5 You don't think Bush and Cheney are war criminals. You've been drinking straight flouride not just NWO tapwater. Dude you are invoking Bill O'Reilly by calling people pinheads. Pathetic. Choke on an Easter Ham

  • @eqsmooth : If they're war criminals, so is Clinto for bombing Kosovo and so is Obama for continuing the war as long as he has. If we were at war with a European fascist nation, some of you lefties would be our most gung ho volunteers and wouldn't care how many civilians got killed.

  • @Gazzara5 As along as as Clinton had appropriate permission to intervene he is not a war criminal. Obama, if he is exactly repeating Bush's policies then he is a war criminal. Clinton's plan worked out nicely compared to Iraq/Afghanistan. Bush/Cheney ruined the world, destroyed it perhaps forever. Clinton and Obama won't make it worse.

  • @eqsmooth Clinton did not have "appropriate permission" (i.e a CONGRESSIONAL DECLARATION OF WAR). Let's also remember that Serbia posed NO threat whatsoever to the national security of the United States or any of its NATO allies. Clinton bascially murdered thousands of innocent Serbs in a modern-day Guernica or Coventry (only this lasted many months) and rendered many thousands more homeless. He's also responsible for the "ethnic cleansing" of Serbs from their Kosovo homeland. Looks bad to me.

  • Two reasons we've been in wars since WW2 were access to natural resources & to boost our image in the world. Korea, Vietnam, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia were politics & image. Iraq was personal revenge, natural resources & anti-theocracy. The Serbs were doing the cleansing. SLOBO MILOSEVIC. We needed to take action against his genocide. I believe that was a military action, not a war on our part. It pales in comparison to Bush's colossal bone head move supposedly supported by WMD's. Ha! What a joke.

  • @eqsmooth WHY did we need to take action against his genocide? That sort of thing, and much worse, goes on in Africa all the time. But since the victims of "ethnic cleansing" in Africa don't look like most Americans, we ignore it there. And don't forget, Kosovo is the wellspring of the Serbian people. It is the "Jerusalem" of the Serbs. The Albanian "Kosovars" are squatters brought in by the Muslim Turks after the Christian Serbs were defeated in the 1300s.

  • @eqsmooth The Iraq War was indeed "boneheaded" It was also a massive war crimeThe non-partisan prestigous medical journal the British Lancet published the a study of the death toll in Iraq.It was done by Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, experts in this field. As of 2005, 650,000 Iraqis perished as a direct result of Bush's idiotic invasion. That number is now over 1.5 mil. It was America's worst foreign policy blunder ever! Eventual cost? 4 to 5 trillion.Afg will cost the same.FOR SHAME!

  • @Loejyrrab Wow. some numbers! You've done some research. I see you have some detractors, judging from your comments section. My comment was rather harsh. I must have been in a real mood. I moved to NY 3 years before 9/11. Chose my apartment because it had a view of the WTC. The 9/11 event crushed me even though I was not directly involved as far far as friends/family. My world view was naive and perhaps still is, but America is worse off due to the invasions financially & as far as its image .

  • @eqsmooth Yea eqs, I come here with real facts.I do my homework. The numbers speak of WAR CRIMES.Today, bombs killed 60 police cadets in Iraq.Bush&now Obama have tons of blood on their miserable hands.B.O knew Iraq was a blunder. The nation would have supported a complete pullout.Same w/Afghanistan.Instead, the carnage goes unabted. These last 10 yrs have sickened me to no end.We are hoplessly sunk as a nation. I read your profile and agree on most of your observations.Bye!

  • did he say lamestream media?

  • Is Bill O'Reilly going sane? He's turning into the voice of reason lately.

  • Holy shit....I'm agreeing with O'Reilly. O'Reilly is positioning himself as the voice of reason on Faux News. But everything in life is relative, and it's not hard to seem reasonable next to the limitless bullshit F'd News spews out.

  • @mrbonobos : Are you a fan of MSNBC? You probably love Much Semi-News and Bull Crap.

  • @Gazzara5 I hear you...while I agree alot more with MSNBC commentary...it's all part of the same BS entertainment 'news' beast. Today we are able to pick and chose the channel/radio station that re-enforces the beliefs we already hold....so we really don't get any smarter. A genius person would be able to make a news channel that is truly informative from all over the political spectrum while keeping it entertaining.

  • @mrbonobos : They all do. MSNBC is no better.

  • What?/ O'reilly's protecting Franken's honor. He he whats Al got on Bill? Man Bill's a DickFlopper.

  • douche bag

  • Maybe it's just me, but comparing Bill with the likes of his Fox counterparts, he seems to be the most rational (and I say that VERY loosely). Perhaps he is starting to turn the page? No, I didn't think so either.

  • It doesn't matter, I don't think he minded the disrespect. He is an Obama Zombie.

  • I wish somebody would reach across that desk and bitch slap O'Reilly. Fuckin' punk!

  • What a cunt.

  • I disagree with O'Reilly on just about everything...but he's right on this one.

  • No, no, no, O'reilly is making sense and I'm agreeing with him.....aggghhhh Is this real life? Why is this happening to me?! I feel funny, Is this gonna be forever??!

  • @eapineda You have four eyes!!!

  • O look, it is journalist Borat

  • @Jotrum how is o'reily disrespectul to guests? if he ask's you a question and you give him a run around answer i dont believe it's being disrespectful calling them out on their bullshit. if your asked a question you give a straight answer, not very hard. an educated mind will not tolerate a simple mind.

  • Pot calling the kettle black much???

  • v vCheck out my new video

    Simply put (um bluesing).....

  • please go die Bill O'Reilly

  • I didn't even know the O'Reilly factor was still on the air.

  • @natashiapelouski I think you're confusing Liberals with conservatves.

  • Comment removed

  • O'Reilly has never disrespected his guests unless they disrespect him or others, DillonX. You no doubt have no problem with the disrespect MSNBC commentators have shown conservative guests. And don't deny they are disrespectful, because they are.

  • You would only cling to "you, too" if the charges levied against O'Reilly were accurate. With that said, how dare you attempt to deny the fact that O'Reilly disrespects his guests without provocation? He shouts down half of them whether they agree to his points or not. He interrupts and acts like a rude, condescending jackass throughout 3/4 of his program (the time he spends talking compared to anyone he interviews).

That's nice regarding MSNBC, but O'Reilly is a scumbag regardless.

  • Look, O'Reilly is an entertainer. Olbermann is an entertainer. Beck is an entertainer. The 24/7 cable news shows are entertainment. The hosts and shows and producers will do whatever they want with their characters on the shows to increase ratings. The danger is that most people from the baby boom era don't realize that they aren't watching news anymore, they think it's all real.

  • @effingreat : Thank you. Finally someone with some brains. However, I wouldn't brand all the cable news shows that way. The news programs are straightforward and reasonably fair. Commentators don't have to be, as long as they are honest about it. We know O'Reilly is right-wing and Matthews is left-wing. Fair enough.

  • Fair enough that your "news source" is siphoning it's information to you through the filter of a partisan? Fair enough for you, maybe.

  • Jason Mattera: one of the biggest fake asshole,/fame whores around. He's cashing in early because his light will soon shine no more. A pathetic untalented huckster. Too young to remember Stuart Smalley who was a great character created by one of the best NBC products ever. A bad joke now, there would be no SNL history if not for Al Franken who is a very smart senator and an earnest human being. Jason Mattera needs to get his ass kicked more often. Can anyone just make it w/o fake controversy?

  • @eqsmooth : The Smalley movie bombed. Franken is an idiot. You may now call me an a**hole, you sch**"k!

  • @Gazzara5 Smalley originated on SNL and was a great skit. Who cares about the movie? Also, This jason asshole called him "Small-Wee" wile putting his hand on his back and said "lamestream video". Franken should have broken his jaw. Oreilly is trying to teach this kid manners?

  • @eqsmooth Smalley was a lame takeoff on the "life coaches" who abounded on TV back then. It annoyed me and was far from great. As a senator, he's even more pathetic. Please move to Minnesota if you love liberalism so much. This country was established to escape from Europe, not emulate it.

  • This country was not established at all out of a hatred or escape of Europe. It was about not putting up w/the Church of England, King of England & taxation w/o representation. We were colonized/established by England not Europe. We were under colonial rule by the Church & Kingdom of England. Other empires like Spain & France were not established here (they only had land claims) & failed through war. They couldn't do here what they did in Africa. I don't think you've been to Europe or read much.

  • I Like bill but you ever notice in his interviews he says i'll give you the last word he never does.

  • I understand about Bill not lecturing anyone about etiquette BUT, it was still good advice.

If you want a serious answer then don't start off antagonizing/smarting off.

  • @9696286 - I like O'Reilly, but this was a pretty absurd lecture coming from him. His interview with Barney Frank was pathetic...I was embarrassed for him at the time.

  • @kazeet456

I've seen a couple of interviews O'Reilly had with Frank and at times they made me cringe.

Yeah, I guess it's hard for Bill to be convincing when he does some of the same things himself. Maybe it's one of those "do as I say, not as I do" kinds of things?:)

  • @9696286 : So have I, and Senator Franken is no better. O'Reilly's strategy is to be polite until the leftie fools insult him, then he gives it back double. You probably see nothing wrong with Franken because you agree with the swine, and thus anything HE says is "justified."

  • @Gazzara5

I and another poster were referring to Barney Frank, and no....I'm not especially fond of Al Franken either.

  • @chromacopy365

So true. Love the recent backpedal on Fox. They put on eyecandy women to draw viewers, and call themselves conservatives..its hilarious.

  • That's not really a lecture on etiquette, although his approach was aggressive. It's a valid point: Journalists (or anyone else) can't expect a person to give them the time of day when approached in a disrespectful way.

  • O'Reilly lecturing on etiquette?

Never heard anyone so rude or arrogant to his guests :-D

  • How many times has O'Reilly disrespected his guests???

  • @mobspeak This is an example of hipocrisy gone FUCKING NUTS, HOLY SHITBALLS

  • @mobspeak none

  • @DankBombCroosh keep smoking weed dude! XD

  • O'Reilly is nothing more than Nancy Peloisi in drag.

  • @Kapan60 why do people dislike nancy peloisi i never could really find anything horrible about her please tell me

  • @moneyjr1122 She is Nancy Peloisi. She took the impeachment of President Bush "off the table" as soon as she was selected, promoted Obamacare, and considers anyone who is against her evil.

  • what bad behavior has kranken done? iv never heard anyone of credibility say anthing bad about him.

  • @420captain that should be franken, not kranken.

  • wow, when an idiot like o'reilly lectures you, you are really a loser

  • O'Reily lecturing a journalist is like watching Hitler telling Stalin to chill the fook out.

  • I question Smalley's legitimacy as a Senator. That crook stole the election with the help of the now-defunct ACORN. He deserves no more respect than your average criminal.

  • @patsagainstrats ,thats bullshit, you act like all the idiots you people elect into office are holyer than thow. you sound like just another tipical sore republican loser. get over it, Bush stole his election's,but i dont hear you admiting that. franken won fair and square.people are sick of republicans and so am I.

  • @420captain

No. I'm sick of a non-functioning two party system. Both parties are rampant with corruption. Don't make this a partisan issue when it's not.

  • O'Reilly finally showing some common sense.

  • Like Oreilly knows about etiquette and he really wants people to treat stuart smalley right? ok.

  • All 3 of these clowns are assholes.

  • When someone typifies it's for reasons that we unfortunately see here on Tube or tv. Being left, right or independent is fine and a given right. When you use your political position to bash others for no good reason other than finger pointing that's immoral. When you wave the flag, but don't respect the constitution that is hypocritical. When you hate because your party didn't win that's childish.

  • @marcot64 ....You said it best.

  • @anotherdumbmonkey Your comment typifies why the Liberal Party will be voted out in the next election. I myself am an Independent as most of America is. Your view however of the right is a little tainted. Reagan's policies led to the best economic times in our century since Coolidge. I'll ask you two questions. 1. When have extreme leftists policies ever worked? Not just in this country but in the world? 2. Why is it a fact that every time taxes are lowered the gov't actually makes more $?

  • Bill O's got a point, that guy is a douchebag. First he tries to say he's a journalist then he's a concerned citizen and with that he can offend people. Too much make up, followed by ignorance. Let's hope there are enough right wingnutz to be able to support him with book sales

  • Loony Kikesh Subhuman Jeeboo Crissed Insaner Shitskin Obama Kwanda Mullteakulty faggot Frankenstein

  • O'Reilly and the rest of them radical lunatics are all scared now. Ever since it came up ever since they started talking about how if you incite ppl to be violent you'll be held accoutnable. Those ppl aren't so loud now are they?!

  • Good thing Mr. Polite was setting this guy straight. Wow, I guess that will be the end of the Pinhead comments. Bill your an idiot!

  • Comment removed

  • lolol oreilly is such a DOUCHECANOE just floating down the great river cunt.....

  • lil wayne said fuck Al Franken...LIL WAYNE said that lol

  • The Kid is not a republican. It's obvious he's just trying to make a buck. O'Reilly, who has years of experience in the business, can see through the bull.

  • The lecture was not about respect or Al Franken. It was about what happens when you insult the person you are interviewing, you give them a legitimate excuse to not answer you.

  • O'Reilly keeps going up in my book. I don't agree with his beliefs at all, but he's not a bad guy. I wouldn't mind sitting next to him in church.

  • bill oreilly is a hipocritical fake asshole. He called ma man Jesse Ventura a pinhead. I will never forget that. When in reality he is the pinhead. He is a liar, and a punk.

  • what the fuck i thought i was daydreaming

  • this guy is a clown...not a journalist

  • Why does everyone dislike this? He showed how he would be polite to someone and everything thinks that's bad. I guess people will always complain about Fox news.

  • "lamestream media" is fucking retarded. do these people think they're clever?

  • CNN hired a blogger that was a shit head like this one too

  • This "blogger" is the biggest political douche out there.

Fuckn fag with his ridiculous questions.

  • Shawn Hannity's ass contains two of the most dangerous substances on earth...1 Ann Coulter's fingernails and #2 Bill O Reilly's Semen.

  • @nandansho

    RUN FOR YOUR LIFE !!!!!

  • So let me get this straight... his objection isn't that this guy doesn't respect Al Franken, but rather that he was disrespectful to his face during an interview? And he tells the guy this during an interview while talking down to him? O'Reilly is a moron and a hypocrite.

  • @bigbad486 his problem was that the guy fucked up the interview by disrespecting him and lost his chance to grill him because it gave him an opportunity to blow him off...

  • @bigbad486 i think what he was saying is that he shouldnt be disrespectful to franken during an interview because he wont get anything out of franken if he is

  • @aziansn4k3 Doesn't change the fact that he ignored his own advice in the same breath.

  • @aziansn4k3 Doesn't change the fact that he ignored his own advice in the same breath.

  • The pot calling the kettle black . . . somewhat amusing, but it reeks more of hypocrisy.

  • haha fuck bill oreilly. he shouldnt be talking he's one of the most disruptive media men of all time and that is widely agreed upon. and jason mattera is a good guy watch his videos. if you hate oreilly, you will love them. if you love oreilly, you will love them, too.

  • You tell him Bill, respect thy authority! Hay I know lets pass a law that says you can't disrespect a Senator. You go Bill. Tell that freedom loving punk where to stick his free speech. I hate freedom.

  • @putittogether hahahaha he wasnt trying to take away his free speech he was telling him how not to fuck up an interview jeeesus it was a pretty straight forward clip people

  • If only O'Reilly would take his own advice.

  • O'Reilly is trying to lecture someone else on bad behavior???

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

(hang on, I need to find a tissue to wipe these tears of laughter from my eyes.)

    Ok, all better now.

  • O'Reilly's point isn't that etiquette is an end in itself; he's not insisting that Franken should be respected. He's just point out that a lack of etiquette on this blogger's part gave Franken an acceptable reason to blow him off. TPM, you're turning into Huffpo. I'm as liberal as they come, but I have to say that you're looking for conservative hypocrisy where none exists.

  • @Ducky1987 funny cause at this point oreilly is the liberal freedom hating news whore and the other kid is mr. constitution.

  • OMG, Bill is doing what he was taught by the nuns. Love thy enemy with all thy heart for you never know when you will be called on. This youngman is typical of todays youth, rude, crude and ilinformed!

  • al franken elected to office...........think about....this country has lost it's freaking mind!

also see hank johson from the 4th district of georgia, guam will flip? we the people put these idiots in office, no wonder we are in the shape we are in.

  • This was just a thinly veiled attempt to promote this guy's book, while pretending to be "Fair and Balanced". It's all an act. If O'reilly really felt that way, he wouldn't have invited him on the show.

Reminds me of the "We know the swift boat crap was all made up, but let's have them on the show again (for the 26th time) so we can pretend to challenge them, all while giving them another opportunity to influence others".

  • O'Reilly being sensible? What???

  • With all the violence and threat of violence coming from the right wing, me thinks O'Reilly is pulling back. He knows The murder of Dr. Tiller was in part his fault. The right is getting crazier and he is distancing himself and hoping the blame will shift to Beck.

  • The only thing Bill O'LIElly could lecture anybody on is how to use a loofa.

  • Bill O'Reilly instructing anyone on good behavior is a little bit rich.

  • @HeathrowSurveillance Whys that?

  • Mattera is just your guido NY city piece of trash. Look at his accent, hes your typical guido NY city or NJ trash.

  • I like O'Reilly more often than not. But, playing nice with politicians hasn't worked well for poor to middle America; to the extent they are even represented at all. Politicians speak money and influence or else, sadly, they are not electible. Additionally, politicians aren't people, they are government; read your Constitution Bill. What's more, they are well-paid government, with perks and retirement.

  • @naede88 They call it "good cop bad cop".

  • Jason is clearly gay. Just look at this ass bandit.

  • @jensen1901 my gaydar was also sceeaming

  • I find O'Reilly's concern disingenuous.

  • Hahaha, great guy

  • I never thought I'd see the day when Bill O'Reilly was the voice of reason to Fox News.

  • Finally Bill makes a good point. I've seen this piece of crap yammer at other politicians and lie his way into a conversation. He's two faced and not worth the time of day. He simply yells down any point they try to make. Go away twit.

  • LOL!

  • aww. mattera asked a question and because he was rude al franken gets off the hook with not having to answer.

  • O'Reilly is lecturing Matera about disrespecting Senator Franken by calling him 'Senator Smalley?'

Yeah, right. The proper way to show respect is by sending out one of your lackey producers to ambush your target. THAT's how you do it if you want to win a couple of Peabodys...

    Oh, wait...

  • @bushputz Bill'O is a joke...Fox TABLOID News is as well!

    Good comment! Thumbs Up!!!!!!!!

  • uh, son, only I can send assistant producers to stalk people on their vacation and confront them disrespectfully. You must stop this and leave the technique to us who are professional arses.

  • Hi, I'm satan... its getting kind of cold in hell... my nipples are hard.

  • mattera got pwned by al franken and now he gets pwned by bill o'reilly?

better look for a new line of work, loser. spring's here and lawns need cutting. mattera might be under qualified.

  • @KataVideo - ooh! ooh! Put that boy down!

  • lol. Al Franken is the paragon of bad manners? why don't you tell Ryan Sorba to look in the mirror? As a matter of fact, why don't YOU look in the mirror, mattera? Making up some bullshit remark about Democrats and/or Obama's "definition of freedom being snorting cocaine." So Al Franken said some shit like "how fucking shameless" angrily at a DEMOCRATS event. big deal.

It is quite a surprise to see Billo coming to the aid of Al Franken for once.

  • Ah, the 'lamestream' media. I'm SO looking forward to hearing that for the next year...

  • i like the new role O'Reilly is playing. he is tricking all the libs.

  • Hahaha...you can see the smirk come off of his face at 0:35

  • this is for the new youtube design ┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐

    i agree with pellegrino80 's assesment....

  • @hellshade2

I agree, this new format is pretty damned awful ┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐

  • It must be April fools day or hell has frozen over.... O'Reilly actually said something that made sense and I agree with.

  • Mattera, will you join the military already, you chicken shit!

  • Hell has frozen over.

  • ┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐hey all copy and paste this if you hate the new youtube design

  • Good to see O'Reilly learned his lesson after Franken completely demolished him.

  • This was the same dude who attacked an obviously slowed Ted Kennedy a few months after his seizure at the inauguration and a few months before his death. Mattera does not have a classy bone in his body for attacking someone battling a brain tumor.

  • This much I agree; bad behavior does not justify bad behavior.

-- but, I'm doing the best that I can. I'll try to do better, myself.

  • I don't know which of these two guys is being more disrespectful toward others. Bill O'Reilly is frequently being disrespectful toward others behind their backs by deliberately misquoting them in his show. At least this blogger guy is saying it right in his face.

  • Jason Mattera is a fucking Chickenhawk, check out the video on YouTube.

  • ┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐hey all copy and paste this if you hate the new youtube design

  • Yup. Whenever want a model of civil discourse and respectful behavior, I look to Bill O'Reilly. He sets a fine example for us all.

  • What the hell is going on here? Did Jesus appear in a near death experience and say "Hey, Bill, seriously that's NOT cool"?

  • @leonel1982 There's been a slight hint of decency out of O'Reilly as of late. I think that Fox and the GOP are using O'Reilly as a "strawman". Here's how it works: Most thinking people can't fucking stand Fox "News". In counter, the other pundits can say, "Well, O'Reilly is being very reasonable and polite, so therefore Fox "News" isn't simply a tin horn for the GOP."

I'd like to believe that the man has picked up some character along the way, but it's highly unlikely.
