i work at a VA. by and large the vets are treated very well. costs are pretty ridiculous tho and nothing (repeat, NOTHING) is done cheaply or efficiently. crappy lunches cost $10 for employees, scrub uniforms are $100s of dollars to replace and we have 6 pharmacists + 7 the pharm techs working the outpatient pharmacy which is comparable in size to a cvs pharmacy run in the free market by 1 pharmacist and 1-2 techs. that's just an example, but it's representative of the system

Third, whites live 6 years longer than blacks in the US, and europeans live about 3 years longer than americans, therefore, white americans live 3 years longer than europeans. I saw multiple doctors and thousands of dollars in co-pays later didnt do shit for me. I came to europe for treatment and finally found relief for 200 dollars (thats covered everything from tests, visits and drugs for a month. I am happy. Think whatever you want. but in my personal experience, i will try never to see an american doc again

Why not start where the problems lay, no denial for those with preexisting health issues, coverage for catastrophic health problems, tort reform and being able to sell insurance from state to state which will reduce the costs. Leave the illegal aliens out of our healthcare fix. Every hospital should have a free clinic in it for the illegals anyway. Take care of those four and you'll have it 3/4 of the way fixed...

i work at a VA. by and large the vets are treated very well. costs are pretty ridiculous tho and nothing (repeat, NOTHING) is done cheaply or efficiently. crappy lunches cost $10 for employees, scrub uniforms are $100s of dollars to replace and we have 6 pharmacists + 7 the pharm techs working the outpatient pharmacy which is comparable in size to a cvs pharmacy run in the free market by 1 pharmacist and 1-2 techs. that's just an example, but it's representative of the system

I saw multiple doctors and thousands of dollars in co-pays later didnt do shit for me. I came to europe for treatment and finally found relief for 200 dollars (thats covered everything from tests, visits and drugs for a month. I am happy. Think whatever you want. but in my personal experience, i will try never to see an american doc again

I hate Bush and Obama. I hate Bush because he sent American troops to go to war with the government of Iraq without proper authority from the congress which is required under article 1 section 8 of the Constitution. And I hate Obama because he has not proved he is an eligible candidate for president. Obama has yet to prove that he an actual natural born citizen of this country. Call me crazy, but I don't believe in bits and pieces of the constitution but all of it. Including article 2 section 1.

I respect your higher level of thinking. Since I am not a great student of history, my bottom line comes down to what solutions are available for a select problem. Obama is good at exposing the problems however, not everyone is in agreement there are problems nor will solutions be pallitable. For example I saw bits of a McCain Healthcare TH today. Most of the questions focused on freedom, constitution and illegal aliens. Not quite biting at the core of the healthcare issue. Seems non-productive

Why not start where the problems lay, no denial for those with preexisting health issues, coverage for catastrophic health problems, tort reform and being able to sell insurance from state to state which will reduce the costs. Leave the illegal aliens out of our healthcare fix. Every hospital should have a free clinic in it for the illegals anyway. Take care of those four and you'll have it 3/4 of the way fixed...

Your solutions are not bad! I agree with most BUT are you only solving one prong of a two prong problem. The problem is HC Reform for the Already insured AND THE UNINSURED. You did a good job of covering the insured folks. So what about 46million without healthcare? ER's? What about the illegal aliens that need emergency treatment? Oh...the free clinic is open in the morning? Isn't that when most of America see a doctor anyway...when it's an emergency. I'm not sure your 3/4 of the way there.....

We spend billions every year to keep free clinics open for those with no health insurance; 46 Million have taxpayer funded health insurance...they use the ER for flu,colds and stomach ache; the 46 million uninsured are the illegals from every country on earth here illegally.We need Uncle Sam out of healthcare cause they do not pay their fair share of debt, they collect taxes but don't want to part with it so everyone else picks up the slack, till we're broke, like now.
