E46 M3 is a 3.2, your brother must have an e36.

My 325 is stock and it does not sound as agressive as this exhaust. Sounds like the cats or resonator has been removed.

Not officially but mine has been running a 3.0 for 2 years. The extra power over the 2.5 is very noticable.
