he went stiff because his brain and spinal cord somehow temporarily stopped communicating due to the blow. he was essentially dead and brought back.

@mrhat1978 Not true. He wasn't dead and brought back per say. He was just unconscious. When he hit the ground the snap of his head to the ground had enough force to have his brain rattled to the point it banged against his skull, causing the concussion due to swelling of the brain. Thus resulting in him going stiff and unconscious. It is seen in MMA and Boxing all the time, it's a KO, not a supposed death blow that you proposed.
