Played this one year in a symphony and was the only basson.. only had problems with one part durring the EH part where it changes... going down was the harder part.

oh man! you actually have 3 bassoons. we only had one, and we had it play the main part, accompanied by bari sax on part 2 and bass clarinet on part 3. the 3 bassoons sounds so much awesomer.

I'll say. I'm playing this one in marching band this season, and they had to replace a lot of those brilliant bassoon features with mellophone, baritone, or saxophone features. It's really not the same anymore. Real pity.

soooo im in marching band this year aaand amer salute is our OPENER! i play vibes in the pit... and i love it! we have insane solis thought!!!! ♥ but i didnt hear any of them on here... weak percussion!!! you seemed to have tempo issues also! no russhing kids!! bahahahahaha

good job-other instruments need to back off a little more when the oboe/english horn are doing their thing...difficult piece..but fun to play!

Great recording! Percussion section wasn't big enough though... the song lacks a bit when you don't have the great xylophone part with the piccolo solo in the middle, or the boom of the bass drum in the middle of the song. still very well done tho!

Mm. Yes. My high school's band takes it a tad faster, but I think I should suggest that the teacher slow down a bit, since you guys have much cleaner timing than we do.

Congratulations to your three bassoonists, by the way. I don't think there are three high school bassoonists in our county (three schools). Our band is a bit smaller than yours, and has the only two I know of...

It might have been the recording, but the French Horns (at least they're supposed to be) sounded a little weird during their muting part at 0:58. But it was a very good performance if I may say so. You would have given our wind ensemble a challenge at competition. It's amazing that you have three bassoons. Ours left last year and he sucked...
