I was at a grass strip the other day. Must have been 1500' long. Saw a C-152 go by with a Dad and his two young kids in it. Cool temps..but long grass. They almost did not make it out of the strip. Scared me. I remember those days. I have a C-150 Aerobat for years. Glad to be a homebuilt jockey now.
The ground roll was excessive, I would have most likely aborted the takeoff... Any longer and you would have run out of runway ;)
