I am the breeder of Sinister Minister's mom, on my little mudhole farm in Ohio. I drove to Keeneland to watch my "grandkid" run. WHAT A THRILL!!! I was so proud of him. Got to be in the win picture and meet his connections at the champagne party afterward. Then took my first trip to the Kentucky Derby. What an experience. Thanks, SM for the memories.
I think First Samurai would have been a good horse if he hadn't broken his ribs in this race. I find it amazing he actually still ran in this race after hurting himself coming out of the gates!
This race was on April 15th, 2006. Barbaro was not entered; remember, he never lost a race in his career. I still don't count his breakdown in the Preakness as a loss either. He remains undefeated in my books.
this horse ran off the screen this day and never fired again. Any word on what he does now?

I miss the old Keeneland...throw out any favorites parked on the outside and bet the speed. This race was my last good hit at Keeneland.
