  • Pilot came and approach the box, peered inside and said " Are u okay in there son, everything comfy?"

From inside the box" Yes Dad, never been better"

  • 13 people are luggage handlers

  • wtf was wrong here ???? i swear you really must have nothing better to worry about man

  • I want the last 1.42 of my life back

  • @rhys2112 ye me too

  • lol so many animal lovers! lmao!

  • kudos to the pilot lol

  • You want the ramp to handle your bags with tlc?We do, it's you cheap people who cram 80lbs of your crap into a bag designed to hold 25lbs that makes it more difficult.Quit being cheap and use luggage that can handle what you are taking with you.

  • took the words right outta my mouth. some of these people would not last 5 minutes on the ramp.

  • couldnt say it any better :)

  • The most underappreciated underpaid hardest job. I threw bags, dumped lavs, filled water, took shit from pilots, flight attendants, passangers. Passangers just dont know. Did it in rain, snow, sleat, head, morning, late at night, only making $8 and deserved a raise.

  • True that. My wife worked as a thrower her first few years at Northwest waiting for a customer service position to open up. It's a hard job and somewhat dangerous.

  • We always try to treat animals well on the ramp as if they were our own. I've never seen an animal be mistreated out there.

  • i don't see anything wrong with this

  • kill the animals!!!!!

  • Why don't you go work on the ramp for a day and see how gentle you are with the bags when there's someone in your ear screaming pack em faster. You have 20 minutes to pack 75- 150 heavy bags. When and if you do try it; it will make you appreciate our handwork and the effort that goes on in getting a flight out on time.

  • OK, now I'm getting mad. First, you don't understand sarcasm, and for second, you don't know that I've worked the ramp for 35 years. Probably LONG before you were even born. And do you know why I've lasted 35 years? Because when somebody screams at me to go faster I tell 'em to jump in the lake. DO NOT GO faster than what your body can tolerate. You may not be too bright when it comes to sarcasm, but you are probably a good guy. DON'T GET HURT!!!!!!!

  • So...what is the problem? This isn't even one of those videos where the agents are slinging bags all over the place. These guys are working as a team, even doubling up on the really heavy bags, and no excessive force is being used when putting the bags in the bag cart. The only problem I see is that the animal cage was placed in a bad position...that big, it should've been on the ground. But even then, the captain righted it when he saw it was unstable. What else do you want?

  • why do all english have bad teeth??

  • i can see you never did this job before

  • hmm

maybe you should try being a baggage handler, then you will moan and bitch about all the unneccessary weight people take in their luggage, gotta remember your lifting most of the time 20-30kg bags and TIME is of the essence. If we had all the time in the world to be EXTRA careful with EVERY bag & item your damn plane would be delayed big time Put yourself into baggage handlers shoes and prepare ya shit a bit more carefully. by the way look up how baggage is sorted for different flights.

  • Is this video sped up? Looks like it!

  • This is shocking! They should all be fired immediately for cruelty to animals and working too fast and not showing enough respect for the luggage. Every bag should be saluted before and after it is placed carefully in its place. They should be treated as one's firstborn child! Fire them all! Put them out of their houses, and may their children starve!

  • hahaha i like the sarcasm bro.

  • lol

  • Come and work on the ramp you useless person who knows nothing about ramp operations i would love to see you handle 1,000 + bags a DAY with extreme care and all flight go out on time they would be delayed every time if someone handles the bags with extra extra extra care.IF YOU DONT WANT SOMETHING BROKEN DON'T PUT IT IN THE BAG YOU IDOT.

  • Uh---have you ever heard of the concept of sarcasm? Take a breath, chill, and crack that dictionary!

  • That was not sarcasm in your comment what so ever. Did you ever have a physical labor job. Probably not. Us baggage handlers take pride in our job and for you to cut us down like this saying we should all get fired because were not as gently as you would like us to be with your luggage. By doing this we get your damn flight out on time and YES I will go crazy at you when you put us hardworking rampers down.

  • It's not cruelty to animals; cruelty to animals are defined as when a human make an effort to harm the animal and knowing that they are doing it. Im a ramper and the dog should've been on the ground but all airlines are very carful with animals.

  • why are all americans fat??

  • Yes, because all three of us Americans in the entire country are featured here in this video. *eyeroll*

  • i like his voice

  • This video it the biggest hunk of crap I've seen.. hwo does it have 20,000 views?

    You people are lame.

  • do you even know what a runway is?

    try ramp or tarmac instead

  • does anyone know what movies/tv shows will be playing on northwest flights this month?

(my flights are los angeles to mineapolis st paul 3hrs,36 mins boeing 757-300 and mineapolis to amsterdam 8hrs,15 mins airbus a330?)

does anyone know what movies/tv shows will be playing on northwest flights this month?

  • fuk heads u should have sue them since u got evidence lol

  • sue them for what exactly leon? placing a dog cage with half a foot overhanging a perilous 1 foot drop?

  • I saw a dog escape at Puerto Vallarta airport they chased it all over the airport for miles and couldn't figure out how to catch it. I can't remember if it was Aeromexico or Air Transat

  • liar, in the hand book. no live animals will be chased on foot by the ramp/ baggage handlers. that will be taken care of by the quickpak/HUB superiors. because chasing an animal could get you killed if a plane engine is on. "JETBLASTTTT"

  • Cargo is loaded on and off ships by containers, fully sealed, why can't the luggage be handled the same way, no pilfering, no lost luggage. One by one luggage is handled: at check-in onto the conveyor belt, onto the baggage truck, off the baggage truck, into the cargo of plane. Animals should get VIP treatment.

  • The larger airplanes (widebodies - 767 and up) have that feature. The smaller airplanes don't have enough cargo room (width and height-wise) to support containers so they're loaded manually by hand.

  • I need to correct you good sir, the airbus 320 and 321 and some 319's are can loaded you just need to get them special ordered

  • "baggage handlers SHELF"? Its called a Jetveyor, and we are called Fleet Service Clerks.

  • Belt loader.

  • Free the beasts and the children.

  • If the dog did fall out and get loose they'd have to catch him pronto or the airport would have to shoot it. That's what they do. Can't have a dog getting sucked into an engine.

  • or it runs and runs and gets though a conveniant whole n the fence and runs away and after wondering around the city for a while, it finds its wat home and lives happily ever after... or is the Homeward Bound :S

  • got scard for a sec like they where going to leve the poor thing. lucky that guy saw the dog crait was going to fall+lucky it did not fall or they would have a lose dog runing away lose.

  • be free animal! be free!

  • Then do something about it! I hope your bags get lost next time you fly.

  • To McMuller...the guy who posted this video. Instead of jut taping a dog about to fall, why dont you trying getting an FA to call the ramp so they could of taken care of the situation a lot quicker? I guess you wanted to be some phony investigator on ramp crews. I hope the next time your in peril, someone just videotapes it and does not assist you.

    -Ramp guy and animal lover

  • Look at them go...go rampers go!

  • particularly impressed with the way he deftly steals the golf clubs.

  • I suppose you can leave the word 'runway' in there if your want to...even though the runway and the ramp are two completely different things. :)

  • Thank you for your patience.

  • it's actually called an apron, they never tested you on that when you got your Airside Driving Authorization?

  • The only problem is, they don't load/unload the bags on the runway. Aircraft depart and land on runways - while at the gate they are on the 'ramp'. :)

  • Whoops. Thanks for this clarification. I've just changed the title of this video from "Runway Scene" to "Runway Ramp Scene." I like keeping the word "runway" in there....

  • apron.

  • Hay mate got any thing in that bag, eerrr yer a mp3 player in the kids bag, right have it son.

  • What a flashback. I used to work at Federal Express and if you thought that was bad, we had to handled boxes of all shapes. That meant a lot of throwing and rough handling. The worst freight that we encountered was the PML bags (postal), we used throw them all the time. After loading and unloading the after balk, in particular a full aft balk, your back felt very tight. It was a painful experience.

  • nice work cutting down on those extra frames and faking the sound sync.

  • Neato! As a pug dog, I was concerned for my fellow dog's health in that wabbly cage!

  • Have you considered doing docs? I switched from experimental documentaries after many years of doing experimental video.

  • "just filming this animal thats about to fall off this... baggage handlers shelf here..."

ITS CALLED A BELTLOADER you retard!!!! and they are Equipment Service Employees.
