HBO being squirmish over Artie's rant on Bucky's show, I find very hypocritical on its part. It airs raunchier stuff than what Artie said during that same time slot, along with much more raw language, but it doesn't like what Artie said. And Bucky, like HBO, should have known what they're getting into having a comedian like that.

Not to be an asshole but the reality is this show was advertised as an "edgy" show. Buck was prancing around in his leather jacket and trying to pull off some Dice Clay thing in the commercials. When Lange came out, he treated it like the Best Damn Sportshow. Buck wanted it like a sports oriented "The Vew."

Buck definetly downplayed it- the media here (as usual) made more of the situation and sensationalized. There were some places when he had Lange on where he was really cringing though...

HBO being squirmish over Artie's rant on Bucky's show, I find very hypocritical on its part. It airs raunchier stuff than what Artie said during that same time slot, along with much more raw language, but it doesn't like what Artie said. And Bucky, like HBO, should have known what they're getting into having a comedian like that.
And Bucky isn't even the best announcer Fox has either.

I don't like Joe Buck, but I give him credit for admitting he basically told Artie to go off. he easily could've lied about it, and u could tell Russo wasn't expecting him to say "yeah, I told him to do that." and the fact he said he got Artie to leave out a specific joke makes it seem like they had a freakin' dress rehearsal. so a few props to Joe for the honesty. too bad he's as bad hosting a show as he is calling a game.

I tried to watch Joe Buck, after I head of the Artie appearance, and I would rather watch paint dry, fade, repaint, and watch it dry again, then endure another nanosecond of this painful HBO swing and a big miss. Buck is a biased, horrible sports announcer to begin with, to give him a talk show is more of a mistake then the person that launched the career of Paulie Shore.

Not to be an asshole but the reality is this show was advertised as an "edgy" show. Buck was prancing around in his leather jacket and trying to pull off some Dice Clay thing in the commercials. When Lange came out, he treated it like the Best Damn Sportshow. Buck wanted it like a sports oriented "The Vew."
Reality check - you fail to define your own show, others will do it for you.
