  • ABOGADOOOOOOOO!!!! ah no me equivoqué de película jajaja. A esta no la vi epro promete...eso si...y los subtítulos???? te los debo...

  • like if you watching this in 2012

  • Believe Jesus Christ

    And repent your sin

  • There is still good movies today. BTW Taxi Driver is a brilliant film.

  • Jodie Foster is my top ten favorite actor. She is so hot..of course, she's kind of young in this movie, but still beautiful and full of energy.

  • 1,121,212 viewer..... how cool is that uhh?

  • I love this film. I was 16 when it came out . I saw it a number of times in the theater.

  • deniro looked hot!

  • You talking to me? d(:

  • @rodycaz Yeah i never understood either, its like an insult on the character

  • Ejet am mour

  • please somebody explain me the ending. first he performs a crazy massacre and then he's back to normal? like, what the fuck? how did that happen? please tell me. its just ..... aaaaaaaah shiiiiit bro. back to normal? how - did - it - happen ?

  • @Timmynium after the massacre he got in a coma for 4 months first he was sure he was not going to survive so he cut of his hair to a mowhawk to show that this was his last mission. When he killed them he tried to shoot himself but he ran out of bullets so he was waiting for the police

  • I dont understand the purpose of the story when i watched it..it is good but a bit confusing why he wants to kill the politician after saying he wants him to win the election..The Film is good but a bit confusing..somebody explain why hes so weird aswel ..

  • @TheImmortal4190 That´s a good point. He clearly had some bad war experiences. That´s why he had that Mohawk haircut like some paratroopers did on D-day when he went to kill Palantine.

  • Wow Deniro looks young!

  • epic trailer

  • 63 people spoke to Travis Bickle.

  • The way the guy says Taxi Driver is so badass

  • superb performance of robert de niro, hope to rewatch it in a cinematec.

  • This film exposes a very sad segment of our world. This movie is about a lonely, isolated, disturbed man & his spiral into madness, yet the character is hailed a cult hero. "Travis Bickle" has become a vehicle for white males to live vicariously through. The obsession w/ Travis IMO demostrates the fear white males have of people of color..even in 2011. Newsflash white boys...Travis is not real & will never help get over your fear of the big black guys around you...LOL

  • @mvembathegriot For every "big (read: LANKY) black guy", there are a dozen cornfed, 6ft 5in "cracka" motherfuckers like me that don't give a shit about you.

    Go watch "Shaft" again, bitch.

  • YOU TALKING TO ME?

i havent seen this movie yet, but once i saw that scene in the trailer im gonna watch it!

  • I first watched this when I was twelve. It changed my fucking life.

  • thumbs up if you agree that Taxi driver should had taken the best picture award in 1980

  • @rubbishbinable 1976 you mean. Raging Bull should've won in 1980.

  • BOBBY DE NIRO!!!!!

  • @TheImmortal4190 yeah it's true, he is a walking contradiction. travis tells betsy that he doesn't like the man she works with because he doesn't respect her yet he takes her to a dirty movie. it's like he becomes what he hates.

  • so fucking boring and paced like a snail

  • @TheImmortal4190 yeah that's an interesting point you make. it's not afraid to explore the darker sides of human behavior. especially that of a misunderstood young man on the edge. as if he feels he must do something before he explodes.

  • Great De Niro!!! :-)

  • holy crap, Peter Boyle was in this? Learn something new every day!

  • Robert De Niro in Martin Scorsese film? How did I not hear about this sooner?

  • dont worry, im not the classical stupid-ass kid and not going to comment about 240p

  • ah the 70's... when making a great film mattered more than money. Such an approach continued in the 80's and 90's, but has virtually died at the beginning of the 21st century.

  • @Francozilla yeah =( i used to love 90s movies and. And some early 2000 movies.

Now I started watching even older ones, movies from the 90s, 80s and 70s but sometimes I run out and I have to watch some of the new ones, man! the new ones suck soo much. I get bored after 20 minutes, the story is bad in most cases! But the old movies just get you hooked =) not too old tho.

  • @fermerwuvu watch the prestige and requiem for a dream great films!

  • @viktorj1000 seen the prestige =) awesome movie. Should watch requiem for a dream too =)

  • @Francozilla nah we still have good movies i suggest seen "THE ARTIST"

  • @Francozilla

Then stop watching Hollywood movies! The best films out there at the moment are from denmark.

  • @Duebelmaster LOL, I think he has...;-) wake up and smell the coffee!! ..and Denmark ahh, some good ones, but come on...

  • @Francozilla

I don't know whats funnier about your comment, that you are actually being serious or if you actually think Taxi driver was a good movie.

  • @mohab18 Taxi Driver is a great movie. Its about the lonliness and despair Travis felt and how he saw the flith of the night driving. He found purpose in saving Iris from prostitution and genuinely cared for her. I don't know why you think this is a bad film.

  • @Francozilla thats a damn lie.............there are still good movies to be found today

  • @Francozilla Umm, what about Memento (2000)?

  • @Francozilla Well said!!

  • ahh 240p, we meet again

  • De Niro was really sexy back in the day :D

no overreacting, no falseness, just pure class in his acting. Gotta love this man.

  • Jodie lost her virginity with robert deniro

  • both Cybill Shepherd and Jodie Foster look gorgeous in this film

  • superb moovie, wanted in 2007 to become taxi driver because of this moovie,

but i will wait with that.

  • Is this a good movie? I was thinking abou twat! ching it...

  • I love this trailer cause its still grainy. The dvd print is all cleaned up. Theres no soul in it, no grime

  • best film ever, when i watch it i just i, i dunno i just feel, i, i dunno, that's the shit i love

  • I was born in 1985 so I'm not usually interested in movies from the 70's, but I had heard good things about this one. So recently I bought it on DVD and I really liked it.

  • @CIW1985 Heh, I wasn't born until 1994 but I'd suggest the Vanishing Point.

  • I can't understand why AFI ranked Travis on their list of greatest villains. HE IS A FUCKING HERO!

  • im obsessed with this movie...

  • It was understandable why Foster had stalkers after Taxi Driver, because she was a beauty in the film and she still looks good for her age to this day.

  • ...in my top-5-ever !!! i drove 5 years a Mercedes-300 D-Taxi during the night in berlin !!! i know, what he is talking about !!! LES from berlin/germany (...'get out of my car !')

  • The thing about this movie is that it's not some Hollywood action shit.

  • @Keichwoud357 ...Even through it contains guns, violence and prostitution.

  • @Keichwoud357 ...100% agree !!! LES

  • Another great old movie...You talkin' to me??

  • @Q8xElectrox90 jesus -.- "things were better before, when people didn't always complain about how things were better before"

  • @Q8xElectrox90 the old ones were awful, too long too reveiling

  • @Q8xElectrox90 Of course.

  • Check my channel, it's like a T-Rex fighting a dragon while highfiving a half bear/ half Jesus.

  • wait......so how old is Jodie Foster??

  • @tarisone Foster was Fourteen at the time, but she was playing a Twelve yr old. John Hinckley Jr was obsessed with Foster after watching Taxi Driver day and night and then attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan back in 1981 to impress Foster similar to Robert De Niro's character Travis Bickle who attempted to assassinate Senator Palantine in the film.

  • @HypocriteSkeleton3 She wasn't fourteen at the time she was actually nearer the 12 and a half age that she was playing. Jodie foster was born in 1962, and the film did come out in 1976, but She's born near the end of the year, and when you look at the film at the beginning you can see "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" being advertised in a cinema which came out in 1974.

  • @tsotlfan You're correct. Close, but no cigar. I'm guessing during filming she was near the age of 12 which made her 13 when the film was released making on to turn 14 later in the year. My mistake.

  • @Q8xElectrox90 hhaha yeah xD

  • It's safe to say this 1976 classic is "untouchable" from any remake plans. But, the way Hollywood has been turning out stupid remakes in recent times, this unfortunately might be on their radar.

  • @Francozilla

Oh god. That would be terrible.

  • @Francozilla dont count on it. i dont think they will do a remake. it just cant happen , plain and simple

  • how did this end the cold war?

  • thanks to music, i almost feel like watching some kind of horror movie...great stuff !!

  • @Q8xElectrox90

Personally I thought this trailer was a piece of shit, but the movie was absolute perfection. Seems now days the roles are reversed.

  • robert de niro atuaçao impecavel

  • i aint payin $4 for this

  • RIP Leonard Harris (Senator Charles Palantine)

  • The world needs more Travis Bickles and less scumbag politicians.

  • @misterE2012 "he's not going to be a hero next time."

  • @misterE2012 Great work missing the entire point of the film.

  • Man, even the narrators back then were cooler

  • THIS is my film school !!

  • the classic anti-hero outsider . one day a great rain will come

  • i only watched the movie till the end cause i love de niro

  • Is the "You talkin to Me" famous quote came from this movie?

  • @IvyNirvana yup, and De Niro did it on improv.

  • could anyone please tell me wat this movie is about

  • @FallenAngel4139 ill say this, its obviously a must watch, i mean i was skeptical before watching. but once it ended i bought it. thats how much i liked it. its about a man who is insane but who also goes out to do what is right on the streets with extreme measures. ill say that the rest is for you to watch!

  • @FallenAngel4139 its about geting angry and do what lots off us wont to really do;)

  • What did De Niro do to get as skinny as this?

  • @Searchinganswers excersised

  • listen up all you fuckers, you shit heads, you beiber fans, you twilight fans, you dislikers this about a man who would not take it any more this about a man who stood up against all filth, the shit, the whores, the pimps this a movie about a man who got the most badass REVENGE of all time.if you cant take it then go back to your WONDERFUL WORLDS.

  • assassin's creed but with a gun...that apparatus on his wrist

  • @jasper2008ify Oh I see what you're saying. I apologize man.

  • i want that jacket he's wearing and i want it now

  • @jasper2008ify

    Robert De Niro- Raging Bull

    Robert De Niro- Taxi Driver

Al Pacino- The Godfather Part 2

    Marlon Brando- On the Waterfront

    Al Pacino- Dog Day Afternoon

should I go on? To me all of these performances are better than Day-Lewis' performance in There Will Be Blood. Daniel Day-Lewis is one of my top 10 actors. But his performances in There Will Be Blood is not the best. It's great, but not the best. People get too wrapped up in his accents rather than his acting ability.

  • @jasper2008ify Robert DeNiro and Daniel Day Lewis are my two favourite actors, they're the best

  • You're only as healthy...You're only as healthy as you feel.

    YOU'RE...ONLY AS...HEALTHY...AS...YOU...FEEL.

  • MY favorite part was when he killed all those NIGGERS LOL

  • @hslayerm That's funny how you said that because none of the guys he killed was black. He did injure a black guy at the store but the cashier guy was the one who really got him afterwards.

  • I THINK SCORSESE HERE SHINING MORE THAN DE NIRO WITH HIS GREAT DIRECTING

THIS MOVIE IS A MASTERPIECE FOR SCORSESE

  • Comment removed

  • First time I saw this I thought it was the Taxi movie with Jimmy Fallon. Oh HOW I was wrong

  • Classic! Love it!

  • ame esta pelicula me demore dos dias en verla pero q belleza es muy buena

  • how many people did he kill in the movie?

  • @stonecoldsnoopy 3. 4 if you include the black criminal in the convenience store, but they don't show if he actually died.

  • @gandhisleftnut That dude was shot in the face, I think he died

  • i heard that the guy that tried to kill ronald reagan saw this movie 15 times.

  • 54 People Were Talking to him

  • @Darthmalak12 LMAO I agreed.

  • @Darthmalak12 what does 54 people were talking to him i haven't seen the movie before?

  • @PrestonLions3 he says , you talkin to me , 24/7

  • @Darthmalak12 I talk to him hahahahaha.

  • you talkin' to me?

  • Taxi Driver = Pure Epic

  • 2:08 Holy shit that's Jodie Foster ?? Daaaium.

  • ..preparing himself, for the only moment in his life.. that will ever mean anything!!

  • Imagine if he killed the presidential candidate instead of the pimp, how would the world look at him? Morality is subjective and there is no objective reason of why one is better than the other.

  • @AQGOAT24 Well, the difference is, one is a pimp and the other is a presidential candidate.

  • if they remake/reimagine/whatever this, i am going to be realy pissed, but i'll still see

  • @classicrockNo1...if they do ever remake taxi driver i think edward norton would be a good travis bickle just by seeing his performance in american history x...but no where close to robert de niro cause he is travis and no one could replace him..but if they do i think edward norton would be a great choice

  • @usernameDOGS definitely, taxi driver was basically an indie film; if they were to remake it, it would be more geared towards large audiences with a large budget, lots of shoot out violence rather than a portrait of a disturbed vietnam veteran. but yeah, if norton were to be in it, i'd see it off of american history x

  • @classicrockNo1 ..yea i could already picture edward norton in the travis role with the mohawk and also he is a amazing actor i could imagine him pullin off perfectly the scene were hes talking to senator palatine in the cab cause of that one scene in american history x when there at the dinner table and hes talking to his moms boyfriend...but a taxi driver remake just doesnt sound right ..you dont remake classics

  • @usernameDOGS yeah, you do, you just make an idiot of yourself or ruin the movie. i'm okay with how it ended, i don't need to see someone else's interpretation i don't need to know what travis is doing twenty years in the future, besides, how can you even top the original?

  • @classicrockNo1 ..well its possible to top a original..scarface was a remake and the remake became the classic and the original is barly even spoken about..if they do make a remake i think travis would probly just die at the end....they would take a huge risk with this film and besides what are the chances they would cast norton..not a good idea...a sequel sounds even worse and laughable..hollywood..dont do it

  • Just heard this film is being remade....go to hell Hollywood.

  • @pacomonkey007 i think they're doing a sequal - scorsese discussed it on one of the extras in the movie. still, a really dumb idea

  • Comment removed

  • i wish some original tv spots still existed for this classic film!

  • "One day a real rain will come and wash all the scum off the streets" - Travis Bickle

  • who is that girl at 2:11?? jodie foster??

  • @priest1989 she look more as Cybil Shepard

  • @priest1989 yeah its jodie foster

  • @priest1989 it is indeed

  • Never seen it but most certanly will after seeing the tralier! It's sick that the more money you make the more you're "worth".. I think I'll like this film :)

  • this film is awesone y love it classic
