That's really cool and actually quite smart by Apple and intuitive, you are slingshoting the banner from the screen, pull it down like a rubber band and let it go and it goes away.

@AlexSageMode I have to disagree... I started with iPhone 4 and was tired of so many people seeing it, then went to android which was a power hungry device that doesn't properly support the hardware and then wp7.5 and will never go to anything else. It is smooth and so easy to use my 85 year old grandparents can navigate through it. iOS potentially can have tons and tons of folders to go through
