That braid is called a lace braid. Not a one side french braid.

I love this hairstyle I just watch this and the try on myself and It actually looks pretty good for my first time and my hair is like little past my shoulders and I have thin hair too. Thanks for your videos, they are amazing! I have no problem with some hairdos that you show, your tutorials are very detailed.

But I have very straight hair that doesn't really curl well and a lot of it, it's prob 5 inches shorter that yours right now. I have really big problem trying to bobby pin my hair, it always comes loose even though I use a tons of bobby pins and curled pins. What can you recommend? Which pins should I use and is there a special way to put in the bobby pin?

Do you use any mouse or hairspray before braiding your hair? I noticed that when you backcombed your ends they actually stayed! My hair is super silky and hard to manage, but I'm not sure what to use to make the hair stay without that greasy or sticky look with gel. Thanks!

@chemistryflavored She uses one by Tresemme on the other videos and says you need to section of parts of your hair and spray each bit down to make sure it completely covered.
