ya hawkins is an amazing drummer...because of dave obviously but theres alot of stuff he does that dave has never done...theres similarities...dave was never into weird time signatures
dave's ten times the drummer he was in nirvana....even 2002 songs for the deaf...especailly being around hawkins learnin new stuff...i almost shat myself watching this.
dave was already an amazing drummer in nirvana, he just kept the drumming simple because he didn't wanna take away from the songs..he said this himself

Its a 10 or maybe 12 string in 2 courses... like a 12 string guitar. the smaller strings are tuned an octave up... like EeAaDdGgBbEe
