Very good and you know what you are talking about, but why not demonstrate an actual alignment? It is easier to learn by seeing the processes performed rather than just listening to a lecture.
Hello! I recently heard that radio stations in the 1930's had a much broader bandwidth because there weren't so many of them and music actually sounded better because of that( hi fidelity) Some of these older radios may have a wider bandwidth,or adjustable IF bandwidth, so that if you build your own AM transmitter and play music through it to be picked up by radios elsewhere in the house the music may sound really good, very HiFi like from AM!
@Thermionman1970 You're right, there were fewer stations and the receiver bandwidth was wider in the 30s. I've experimented with FM transmissions on medium wave (low power) and the results were amazing.
