It can be done - no reason why it can't. This was programmed on a real lighting desk so if the lights were set up exactly like that then you could.

Looks visually very nice, but is it actually lighting the band? I find this is the big problem with software like wysiwyg. Its not actually what you would get.

its not supposed to actually show you picture perfect what you will get at the concert, it is a sheer estimate. we have release 18 in our office (we are a pro a/v company)and i do numerous drawings with it. not to mention that wysiwyg is not designed to simulate an actual live concert. nevertheless, its still a heck of a lot better job than either you or i could do.

I thought the motion control add on for wysiwyg didn't come in to existance until release 17

no it came into effect with the "live" tab first seen in the release 10 of wyg. trust me, we have releases 1c through 18 at my office.
