  • This is the best designed small home I have ever seen. I am truly impressed. What I was wondering about were the dimensions. She said 161 square feet, but how does that work out in the actual dimensions. Is it 10 or 13 feet wide? Also, do the stairs close up for when you move the caravan, or are they meant to stay in place all the time. Also, was that a Queen size bed? Also, somebody mentioned in one of the comments about the tires going flat after awhile.

  • I love the little tumbleweed homes, but I love this set up like 10 times better. Like It's small, but it doesn't seem cramped. It is very very nice.

  • Very sweet , thanks for sharing , love the little kitty too !

  • This little home is beautiful! I love it. Thanks for sharing.

  • @SailingSimplicity Funny seeing you over here commenting. I subscribe to your video, too. Seems that living aboard and living small has to be one and the same, eh?

  • We saw a home-made version of the above, three months ago at the Biosalon in Guichen (near Rennes). The chassis had been purchased and then the vardo, made from pine, had been constructed on top. I think it could be a great solution if you are going to self-build in a field, as we are, to construct one of these before moving, that way you solve all your removal problems in one fell swoop.

  • I love the kitty owning the place! I wouldn't mind a visit from him/her if I stayed there! >^.^<

  • So cute and plentiful for one person or a couple :)

  • Charming house. Love the cat.

  • I want one!!! These are very nice.

  • @TheGeoJG we produce tiny houses like this and like the one in the response. Just look my profile and contact with me. Our company is called Cube. The prices are very low. Most expencive house is about $10k.

  • -^-.-^-

  • You know what I just noticed? Most of these people you showcase never seem to have pets.

  • i wish there were manufacturers or people who make and sell this type of caravans in south india, where my grandparents live..the landscape & scenery out there is insanely beautiful...rolling hills and lush fields all around....it would be amazing to camp this outside my grandparent's house during the summer months when i visit there..i can only dream:(

  • @heomak Contact me we produce and ship tiny houses. Check my profile for more info and vids.

  • i really love this channel! :D

  • I wish the cat would come visit me! >^-.-^<

  • looks more like a garden shed on wheels

  • These are pretty cool.

  • love it! All the space I would need for my dog and I :)

  • My mum has wanted to put something similar to this at her house for guests. My only concern is with the tires. Isn't she worried that they will start to crack and deflate after a while?

  • The prettiest caravan I've seen..

  • Seems that a lot of people are sensing what is coming. That is why there has been an increase in interest in small and simple living.

  • @tomperanteau I might add it's the wish of the people to feel and actually BE more free.

  • Kind of reminds me of a kaboose car at the end of the train where the workers can go. Nice vid.

  • It looks wider than others. I love the cat at the end. When I build one with a loft, I think of building little cat ramps for mine!

  • Lovely! Would like to see the insides of the other Etoile units, please! :)

  • @signalfire6 I filmed a separate video with Caroline where she showed me the Etoile units. I added it as a video response here ("Tiny, portable prefab cube shelters in medieval France").

  • @kirstendirksen I didn't know you could time travel? Just kidding :)

Your comment does say "medieval France", not "medieval French town".

  • I love the woodwork.

  • One of my favorite caravans I've seen

  • Fourth!!!!

  • Nice!

  • I'd be pretty impressed if it was truly mobile, like one of the tiny homes. I wonder how hard it is to un plumb it, and if it can be hauled by car?

It's not Modern Camping, It's Camping in the grand old style. And it's still very nice.

  • @TheBoyFromNorfolk If the running gear under it is up to the task, a truck or car could easily pull it. It's too heavy for horses, not for motor vehicles.

  • @paytontech

That's what I was wondering, I mean you don't want to get it half way down the road and have the axel split.

  • First!!!!
