It's not how the turtles look that make them kiddish, it's how they interact with people and things that make them kiddish. I think the latest movie is okay to watch, and I'm 16. Add a little blood and cursing, maybe some bone crunching and you have a PG-13 movie that teens and adults will love even with animation. Although I think anime style would be a lot cooler, as long as people don't screw up the original design and story line.

About time. I was like 5 or 6 when the cartoon 1st aired on tv. I even saw the movie when it 1st came out. They need to start making these movies for the older generation...the generation who 1st watched the originals. Even transformers was too childish. It could have been more awesome but they made it for teens. Kids have their cartoons...make some R-rated remakes for us adults who were original fans. Im tired of kiddy remakes of movies/shows that were made 20-30 years ago. We are older now!!!!

Odds are if the 1st 1 alone is like that, then those damn uptight parents (who complain about TV shows, movies and/or video games being too violent) are gonna step in & try to get the writers to tone down the violence & what not.

This kinda of sucks. I don't think anyone is willing to take the Turtles seriously. It's not fair Batman gets Christopher Nolan, Superman gets Richard Donner, X-Men gets Bryan Singer, Spider-Man gets Sam Raimi, The Avengers gets Joss Whedon. And Ninja Turtles gets Michael Bay. *sigh* Hopefully the script will save it and they'll able to find a good director. But I'm still remaining skeptical especially after the ANES reboot.

As an old school Turtles fan, I fully welcome a much darker TMNT movie that's closer to the original comics. I wanna see Raphael actually stab and rip apart REAL people, NOT robots! I wanna see Leo actually DECAPITATE Shredder like in the comics, not just have shredder kicked off a building and "vaguely" crushed in a garbage truck.

The original movie will always be a classic, but the TMNT franchise has been kid-friendly for far too long. They're supposed to be NINJAS, not babysitters.
