Look at the decoder manual and check what the decoder reset is. Ususally it just involves changing a CV.

hey looks cool, lol if ur interested u should make a militaryy base and have alot of artillery cannon freight cars, flatcars with tanks and vehicles, and turn ur layout into a warzone.... lol thts just me talking stuff sounds more like wat i would put, but nice layout anyway

Frontier Isnt shut down last time i was there they had a bunch of engines idling there and only the hump is shut down and the main line isnt affected youll see a bunch of trains.

nice video mike, your BC rail dash9 is its number 4642 because i have the same blue box kit and has the metal handrails and other numerous detail. one other thing you said you are going to Niagara hobby, pretty cool! please make vid if its not to much trouble. thanks!

I'm not sure, I put a NCE decoder in my BLI loco.

im getting a lot of scenary crap too! nice job and alright Buffalo at the end of July! im going to that hobby store soon and they need to stock up on a lot of HO scale stuff so good luck this time around but if you want i will tell you if they did in fact bring some new stuff in, just ask im going there sometime in the next week or so and Frontier yard isnt doing that bad, at least since June it was still like its old self...

O and I forgot something in my first comment. My other loco that has a Decoder is a BB. I got the decoder installed, but I cant figure out how to get the all the wires in the shell. Every time I get them put in, the trucks are at a strange angle and they cant move. And actually I have had more problems with my Digitrax decoder than my others. Like I'll go to run the BB with out a shell just back and forth, and in a few days time it has forgotten it's programing.

yes, I have the wires that aren't used almost completely cut off. And the others as short as I can get them. I'll try taking off some more.

ok, also try to bundle the wires together and check the placement of the decoder inside the loco, I had the same problem with my GP38-2 and I had to remove the weight underneath the shell

Cool! I think you got something wrong with the decoder, not the brand it self. I have 3 DCC equipped locos (all my powered frisco units). One has a NCE decoder and the other I use has a TCS decoder, but it's a complete board. I have no problems with it.

Yeah I know, I talked to TCS and they said thats what their decoder is like though, because they want a decoder that wants your loco to run smoother and slower, the speed rate is faster. Its hard to explain

Just to let you know about Athearn they got better because I ordered a boxcar door and it came in 3 days.
