been my favorite band since i was 4, which sounds absurd but true. so '98 was when i started i guess. Kids my age have no clue what music is and was. Bands like guster, the decemberists, the new pornographers, dcfc, and maybe weezer (but they have fallen out of favor for me as of late) convey the actually meaning of music and are a microcosm of what music can be like. Too bad people cant look past the facade of modern music and actually see what it REALLY is. On that note, Guster fucking rules.
