I saw them 2 nights running at Wembley Stadium March 9/10th 1981. They were the support band for THE WHO, and were absolutely brilliant! Two of the most memorable concerts I have ever been to!!!
Brighton 1980...... and they supported Bob Marley at Crystal Palace I believe. Sure they had a four piece horn section when they started out. Live they were untouchable
I had Weetos for breakfast this morning, didn't find them that chocolatey, used to like them but.....nah. At the end of the day you can't beat a a good full english,, yeh I know it ain't so healthy but, of course you don't wanna have it every morn of the week. Once a week, magic!
An energetic classy performance indeed. Been a while since I have watched my VHS copy of this. THanks for posting. I gonna have a word with the brass section of my band to choreograph some of those fancy dance steps during the horn solo. Excellent stuff...
This is an impressive live version. Paul & the boys put out a lot of drive & energy in delivering this fabulous number. On the strength of this clip .. I would've driven a long way in a Force 10 Gale to see em live ...
Takes me way back to watching them live in St Austell Coliseum around this time. They were spectacular live, as I think you can see from this clip. Thanks for posting it :)
god is he handsome! Remember seeing them live at the Sheffield Show in the 80s, forgot how GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD they were live!
