Del Taco is more of a California thing I've noticed, but there's just ONE up in WA. I have to drive an hour and a half to get there but it's worth it. It's soooo much better than taco bell.

they all started here in san bernardino county california...they all branched off of a small restaurant which still exists today...its called taco tia...del taco and taco bell are based from this one resteraunt...

Depends on what part of the country you live in.

Southwest seems to have an equal amount of both DT's and TB's, while the MidWest and East Coast have a plethora of TB's.

Whenever I was trucking through those areas though, I'd just find a "mom and pop" Mexican restaurant.

Taco Johns was alright, but Taco Bell anywhere just doesn't have the kick or the feel.
