I agree with you, except on two points. We should never acknowledge the copyright argument that corporations make as legitimate. Second it ought to be an universal idea of free speech, including pornography and "hatespeech". If we agree with them that any limits should be placed on free speech, we lose the principle of our argument. The only exception ought to be the "'fire!' in the movie theater" scenario.

I've seen several deleted youtube videos being uploaded on google video and remaining there undeleted by the very same company, strange but true.

So we have to get into the habit of using google video or even not-google-sites as an extension and work with reference vids over here.

Also it seems we better avoid to use copyrighted material on a channel that is dedicated to important topics.

You might be right, but it would never reach the same people; what's great - so far - about YT is that you can come across stuff you weren't looking for. THAT is an educational experience. If YT refuse to play the free speech game we should make this widely known and then go elsewhere, but first we ought to try to get them to commit firmly on this point.
