My hubby gave me this book last night to read. I can't put it down! My daughter recently rescued a pit bull that she witnessed being thrown out of a car. The poor thing was really sick but Maggie had her fixed up renamed her Daisy and now Daisy is thriving. She is loved beyond measure and returns that love ten fold despite being horribly abused.

Lucky Oogy to have found the perfect forever family! Thank you, Mr. Levin, for writing this wonderful story. I hope that there is a particularly nasty corner of hell for anyone who abuses dogs.

It really is a beautiful story. Don't be afraid to read the book because of the horrible thing that happened to Oogy. That part is told well without being too graphic. The rest of the story is just so wonderful and makes me so thankful that there are people out there like Larry Levin and the others who helped Oogy. You also see how an animal and a human can indeed be soulmates. I know I have experienced that. I see that in this story. I think these two souls will be together forever.

got the book for christmas..it was a really great read and its great to see such love come to a dog that didn't know what love was @ a young age. he's found his heaven living w/ the Levin's. he's such a beautiful creature!

I am now far away from my pitbull :( my pitbull is so sweet...(nothing compares)... She has the same attitude as Oogy has :)

Great BOOK!!! Vick and all who made money off this disgusting sport should be thrown in to a pit and let these dogs rip them apart. No second chances when it comes to hurting animals or children..sorry.
