A complete 32x is pretty damn rare for sure man. It's cause of that cord too, that cord i believe goes for like 40 bucks online if i remember correctly. Great pickup for sure man, glad you finally got the thing, I know how much you love Sega bro. :)
i love the 32x. it gave the genesis a power boost very powerful one. better game coul have been made for it . the ones i like the most are star wars arcade, mortal kombat 2, knuckles chaotics , virtual fighter , tempo. street fighter 2 or super street fighter 2 could have look awesome on this add on
@DavidLeeT You are better off waiting to find one complete bro, Even though it has a small game library the games are still pretty affordable (almost cheap :) ). No rush there. The Transformers poster I think I may have either gotten it at a Wal-mart a while ago or I got it at this one comic book shop I used to go to all the time. I have upwards of 40-50 posters of all kinds as well that I keep rolled up & in tubes. Hey I could show those in a vid pretty easy, maybe I should do a vid on that. :)
hey man Im actually a big collector of the 32x and recently completed my collection for it. I have some extra games for it if you are interested in a trade or something.
I have a funny story when I first got a 32X back in '95; I thought it was uncompatable with the model one Genesis because I didn't realize there was a seperater attached so I had to re-beg my parents to take me to the local videogame store, which was quite a ways away- before there was a game trading store on every corner, and boy was I dissapointed that I no longer had the latest and greatest in gaming but the clerk easly fixed the issue by removing the seperator- we felt stupid
@ScottLewisGamingBlog Farenheit is not too bad if you care for the Full motion vid games like I do. :) I have all 3 of those and they are all fun to play. :)
@Snestastic Thanks Pete. Glad to find it in the box. :) That is definitely one I'd like to find straight away, as well as the Sega CD 32X games of course. :)
@yukmust Actually my mother lives with me and I pay all the bills [rent, utilities, etc.] because she has a lung condition called Emphysema and a bone and joint disease called Polmyalgia Rheumatica. So yes is the answer, my mom lives with me so she won't have to be put into some kind of care facility.
@waspspray I remember no marketing for the 32X when it came out at all. I can't believe it ever even got released. Mainly got it to get the 32X Sega CD varients.
I was one of the idiots who bought the 32X brand new in 1994! I remember going to buy a PSX1 but they wouldn't give me a good trade in price for my SNES. So went for a 32X instead and bought Virtua Racing and Doom. Little did I know, three months later SEGA drop the bombshell they are discontinuing the support for 32X games haha.
Doom is a must though, its a great version of the game and the soundtrack is eerily great!
