There is a HUGE difference between 20 Mb/s (megabits per second) and 20 MB/s (megabytes per second)

Looks to me like you have 20 Mb/s which is slower than 20 MB/s. I'm paying about $90 for 30 Mb/s which is 3.75 MB/s (3.75 megabytes per second, which means at max I can download an average song in about 2-3 seconds).

In conclusion, 1 megabit is equal to .125 megabytes. Convert it.

I have around 25MB/3MB but yet I ping from 100ms to 250ms to servers in my own state more often than I should, and I get 1-5% packet loss in ping test even after I made my ISP install a new line in my building. @Power2People59 Your internet speed is measured in bits. There are 8 bits to one byte. 20 megabits = 2.5 megabytes. So yes that is correct. This is also a decent connection so make the most of it.
