The Corvette is my favorite car in the world and also my dream car. But GM has let me down my making this commercial. This is a very unessesary commercial. Corvette doesnt need no advertisement. All chevy is doing is bragging. This is a bad ass super car, but doesnt need an advertisement. The only way u advertise this car is by driving it on the road.

@testify221 Uh more efficient in what way? If you mean fuel efficiency, LS engines have among the best SFC numbers of any spark ignition engine for passenger cars. Makes sense because they 1) lose less heat (retain hp) b/c of less surface area from their big cylinders 2) spin slower which means less hydrodynamic friction 3) have less valvetrain friction 4) have int/exh ports with among the best flow efficiency (lowest kinetic energy losses). In other words, the LS is more efficient.

Great to see GM actually marketing it's flagship, like most other car manufacturers.

Look at the marketing Lexus spent on the LFA, a vehicle that isn't even available to purchase! The point? Lexus drew in a lot of foot traffic into it's dealership with those commercials, most probably went in asking about the LFA, walked out in a new ISF or IS 250.

GM take note.

No. What I said was that to compare it to the achievements of NASA - just because political and cultural decay has made those achievements no longer possible - is just surrendering. @wedont0wn Maybe not the conventional sense that it's an MR and costs well into the six figures, but It's got 130 more horses than a 430 Scuderia (currently, Ferrari's TOP model), and at a fraction of the cost.

If that that doesn't make it a supercar, I don't know what does. I'll concede that it probably doesn't handle as well as most European machines, but give it time: if GM goes through with their plan to make the Corvette an MR in the future, that could very well change.
