  • What a gaseous windbag.

  • Chochon!

  • It should also be mentioned that while superintendent of Amherst, Sayer not only protected a principal who was a known pedophile/NAMBLA member, but sent a letter to the victim's parents defending this scumbag...oh, and ask him about how he failed to take any action to protect another bullying victim at SH Middle School b/c he "didn't want to disrupt either child's education"...the SH district needs to clean house ASAP!

  • What a crock! Sayers covering his ass and Dan Smith also. Sayer, that arrogant fat pig needs to be fired!

  • Sayer makes over $100,000 a year, and that arrogant self-serving loudmouth will never face the truth that he's incompetent and unskilled.

  • GUY = coward..he did nothing.. teachers did nothing..this guy is a joke.. FIRE HIM!!

  • He's old so he might die soon anyway who gives a fuck about this old piece of shit gus sayer is a dumb bastard!

  • Gus Sayer, another leftist piece of trash, fat, ugly, one of the Americans in this country who drive the health care costs up because he can't eat a vegetable or exercise, has NO IDEA how to run a school, is paid too much money (OUR tax money), isn't going to take responsibility for this incident, isn't going to fire anybody. Somebody please take this guy out. Painfully.

  • @fpyout - Let's not make it political...this case isn't about left vs. right, it's about an apathetic school system that failed to protect an innocent young girl, then tried to shield her tormentors and sweep the whole thing under the rug, and I think people from all ends of the political spectrum can agree that it's an outrage.

  • You know what? If those harassing teens were replaced in their homes by brand new children, in a few months they would be harassers as well---the reason: IT IS FROM THE PARENTS THAT KIDS LEARN THE HARASSING BEHAVIOR. If at home that behavior was not accepted, even if the kid saw it at school s/he would know that it is a "no no," that it is not part of the way humans relate. But there's too much coarseness in American homes, too much rudeness, too much disrespect among all family members.

  • When is the superintendant, principal, vice principal and school committee members going to resign?

When are the teachers who witnessed the abuse of this 15 year-old girl and di nothing, going to be fired?

Why did the town allow the principal to conduct the investigation, when he should have been investigated himself?

  • Thank you: you have pinpointed a detail that has enormous consequences in the attitudes of school officials and parents. "Bully" even has hues of something not objectionable, sounds like "Billy," or "Steevy," or "Denny." It is harassment, plain and simple. A security guard would escort an adult out of an office building if that adult treated coworkers the way teens treat each other in schools.

  • Sayer, Smith, and the teachers need to do jail time. Sayer and Smith are incompetent, irresponsible, liars. Sayer has gone right into 'Pope' mode, he is already lying on camera, and putting serious spin on this unforgivable tragedy. He truly just does not get it. He is only trying to save his fat ass and his job.

  • @richardlechner - Hopefully they'll be forced out before all's said/done...school chairman Edward Boisselle is already stepping down temporarily at the end of the year, let's hope the other SH top dogs will follow suit.

  • This Sayer guy is lying like a rug to cover his ass. Pathetic.

  • The first step is to get rid of the term "bullying" and replace it with "harassment." Bullying is an outdated term and does not carry the same legal consequences as "harassment" does The Business world has zero tolerance for harassment in the work place and so should our schools. Schools should start to replace this terminology at all levels, in all policy manuals, educational materials, code of conduct references, etc.

  • @gigantopithecus100

I don't think so. "Bullying" is nothing less than domestic terrorism. They use terror and intimidation to provoke a response and should be given the strictest possible punishment. Just because the victims are children, these acts are largely ignored by the authorities. Victims of this terrorism are scarred for life because of the actions of these people. It can't be allowed to continue.

  • @gigantopithecus100 A lot of people live with the fantasy that you can't be hauled out of a public school to face felony charges, especially when they attend public school. Another fantasy is that you have a right to an education. Well, you do, but a felon must go to a correctional facility.

Funny enough, those correctional facilities require teachers to teach onsite. Being despicable places, they often let student's do...self-study...Yeah, right.

  • @gigantopithecus100 I never thought about that, but you're so right. 'bullying' has become a commonplace word nowadays and people associate it far too much with 'teasing' rather than 'harassment'. the fact of the matter is that when teasing becomes harassment, it is no longer 'harmless' or in any way 'normal', and should not be accepted under any circumstances.

  • arrest sayer, any teachers who knew, the principle... all of them!

more left wing lack of common sense
