Ok akheon, I know how to do the alternate GOA skip easily now. U might also want to note in the glitch faq that it's easier to do it by rolling afterr the first jump w/hs satvara did, then jumping towards the left and doing an hs. A bit tricky with the roll but to me it's easier that with the jumps. Also it's faster too.

Nope. All I know is that you gotta do a really long jump, or perhaps jump inside the wall for some length to get to the lower floor area without falling down.

In normal speedrunning it's less about perfection than it's about impressive playing and creative sequence breaking. Satvara's run would undoubtetly provide both.

Simply put, no. Even tool-assisted speedruns that have been honed with a computer turn out to be improvable in 99% of the cases.

I think you're trying to do this the hard way.

Get the USB-cable instead, it's very common. All decent electonics/cellphone stores are bound to have it.

AKheon: I discovered that u can actually do the alternate hydra skip without PR. Just do the ascension(hold triange) ,then do the normal attack(square) at the opposite side satvara faced doing this skip, then press x to jump back on. it's, kinda tricky though. But this way u can do satvara's hydra boss speed strategy.

At movie finishing section, there's a properties button right next to the movie creation button. At least in Pinnacle Studio 10 it's obvious.

Just check that the encoding properties are ok. Use the presets if you're not sure what to do.

diffuculties with trying to cut out the unwanted parts of my video. i keep trying but then u tube keeps says invalid parameters.

Basically, put the clips to the grid on the lower part of the screen. Doubleclick the clip you need to cut. Move the edged pointers to line out the area you want to keep. Once you're done, move to the movie finishing-section and choose the correct resolution, etc. from the options, then make a video file out of it.

I don't know what invalid parameters mean. If the problem persists contact Youtube support.

Editing instructions depend on the program you're going to use, and I might not be the right person to help with them. Cut the vids to less than 10 min segments. Uploading is the simplest thing ever, just press 'upload' in the upper corner and choose the video you want.

im my expirience this works on all ps2's akheon. i have the slim japanese ps2. like i said i'll make the vid soon. i still haven't tested it yet for all of gow akheon. but it seems to work well with this trick to skip cutsscenes that count time.

akheon: i found another use for the disc tray glitch. u can also use it to skip 6:09 of

GoW God Mode speedrun(part 17). i'm testing it out more. u know how exactly u have to operate the disc tray glitch akheon? just open and close the disc immediately then open it up. the game will still run with the disc tray screen on. then u can keep moving without wasting a single second!

make it perfect so that u don't exactly touch the water surface. remember u want to make it so that u can swim under the surface. u should get more to the center of the water surface though. if u do this all perfectly u will be able to swim under the water without the trident! then pull the lever then ascend back to surface.Doesn't that sound nice.

I FOUND OUT HOW TO SKIP COP. this is what i did. u see the vid called (God of War - A major sequence break... almost. u can skip the need for the trident by taking out the artemis blade,then falling to the part at 2:03 of the vid. this is what u do. make the jump so that u are a little under the ground. then keep drop your height a bit. then after that ABL so that u are just a little bit under the water's surface.

akheon: you removed a vid called GOW two more skipped fights. what were the skipped fights. please answer. also there was onew with possible glitches with DB at the oracle' temple. what was it about?

The skipped fights was the ruined temple of the oracle fight skip (which I didn't know Satvara had already covered) and some other skip (which I think is today covered in another vid). DB skips' important part was basically getting to the rope with DB - slow and redundant, and the other clips had very little to do with DB, so it was a pretty useless vid.

i got it. maybe you can use that wall breach to go under the floor at 2:06 of the vid then breach to the other wall, then finally carefully jump till you get to the other wall then jump carefully across till you get to 3:02 then ABL to the far away platform. doesn't it seem like a smart plan akheon?

BTW I did find a wall breach. there is a gap at 2:04 of God of War 1 Playthrough [Set 3] [Part 8] on the far left side ovver there the collision is so low that you can get there in one ABL, PR, then ABL. Then quickly jump below the floor and then rise up to breach to the wall. no use yet though.

if you don't do the ROTG momentum jump to make the goats fly you further (which is clearly faster) then you can just rotate the bridge till you get to 3: 54 of God of War 1 Playthrough [Set 3] [Part 8] (you have to get a good part of the rotation then abl across. if you jump at the correct side it should require 5 PR'S. then backtrack a bit unfortunate but sill...
