I have a 55 pete with a 220,backdrop manifold,short straight thro muffler,it cracks ,what is your exhaust muffler or is it straight ,yours sound a lot better,,,

How fast can this '50 kenworth go?

@calebbapst It does 55mph @ 1800 in direct, and there are 2 overdrives

left. I haven't even done the math, let alone try it.

Where can you find a backdrop manifold?

@The72696061 Cummins sales brochure claims it was standard on

all naturally aspirated (and supercharged) engines. Should be easy

to find one off any non-turboed 743 engine.
