  • they ain't that smart, when they win a noble prize in something then ill consider them as smart as apes.

  • @Muki13 yeah right...

  • Whoa wtf howd he get that pat say jack so god damn good!

  • I knew ken was pretty smart, but this is some trivia savant human google type shit. This was absolutely mind blowing.

  • This is the definition of rape.

  • Pat Sajak? Are you kidding me? He got that so fast! Ken is the man!

  • 1:48 nuff said...

  • Ken Jennings vs. Charles Ingram on Grand Slam would be quite...entertaining to say the least.

  • @AlecBoy006V2 The Major would need some quick coughers to top Jennings ;)

  • brad rutter was like i got u man at the end.

  • Finally that arrogant fuck was dethroned.

    I LOVE YOU KEN

  • apple was an easy answer lol

  • I assume this match happened after the Victor Lee match. Jennings is answering much, much faster, as if he finally figured out how much a difference it makes.

  • 2:11 was ken tryin to kiss the dude????

  • I got APPLE which neither one of them got which makes me smarter than they are. That's the way it works right?

  • i think brad rutter, michelle kitt, david legler, phyliss harris, kevin olmstead

leszek pawlowicz, nancy christy, ed toutant i think almost all othem were in the audience rooting for ken jennings

i except for john carpenter was rooting for ogi

  • I watched him on Jeopardy for almost every episode he was on but none of it made me think he was as rapid-fire as that shit.

  • Is he the smartest man alive?

  • At 1:46... PAT SAJAK?

seriously? he knew that before the questioner was even finished? damn!

  • YES!!! thank god ogi for being so arrogant

  • Ken is extremely well rounded. He knows many facts, but can also do mathematical calculations at light speed, and solve puzzles even quicker. Absolutely Amazing!!!!!

  • i knew apple, LOL

  • 2:01 that's epically fast

  • Comment removed

  • what a wikibrain

  • Took the guy longer to stop the stopwatch then it did for ken to answer the sajak question.

  • YES!!!! KEN!!!

  • I got most of the question right........after 10 seconds. Ken is the man. He is the record holder for most money won in game shows in history with over $3,600,000. Ogi won $500,000 on Who Want To Be A Millionaire.

  • I honestly thought ken jennings ruined jeopardy come on being jeopardy champ

    for 74 days boring

  • How can you not love Ken Jennings?

  • PAT SAJAK!

  • at the end ken looked like he was gonna kiss him. you see ogas back up alil

  • I really wish they would do this show again with other contestants, I love this style of game show

  • 57 + 77 - 24? omg how fast did he do that

  • HOST are LAME !!!

  • you can't Stump the Master!!! go Ken

  • ken jennings may conquer the trivia/ knowledge tv shows

  • ogi fails for not knowing basic pop culture questions.

thats where he got destroyed, he never made a comeback.

  • KJ

    what a beast

  • I think he might just be the SMARTEST person in the world, if not then definetly in the top 10 of the smartest.

  • I don't know about Smartest but prob the most knowledgeable

  • Pretty much the same meaning....look it up and stop so corrective. By the way you forgot a period..lol

  • No he's not. Trivia knowledge is no measure of intelligence. The 10 smartest people in the world are all probably mathematicians or physicists - people with a full understanding of quantum field theory, Schrodinger's equation, the basic underpinnings of physical reality, and the ability to DERIVE this knowledge, not just memorize a set of facts.

  • i agree with u but it shows that ken jennings is also good in math, not only good in memorization but also good in numbers therefore his mental power is still amazing...

  • OWNED

  • Ken Jennings, R U KIDDIN ME?? True Genius, He got 'PAT SAJAK'

  • "Switch"

    "Switchback"

    MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • Both these guys are robots, but it's too bad Ogi Ogas goes on sleep mode between rounds.

  • I got the Apple question!

  • Oh also, that extra round was stupid.

  • Ken's reaction to "apple" is hilarious, lol.

Also, poster, shouldn't you be mrjohnmorrison now?

  • this would be a bigger surprise if ken jennings was actually human.

  • Get Owned..

  • Was Ken about to kiss him in the end?

  • I think he said something to him but he had to get close because of all the cheering.

  • Ogi looks like a total douche and Ken is a monster

  • I got two answers correctly when they missed it! Yay!

  • he is so hardcore, wow

  • Jennings looks like he's ready to murder that motherfucker at 2:15 lol.

  • LOL!

  • Ken Jennings' intellect > Ogi Ogas' ego. And that's saying a lot.

  • Ken "Freakin" Jennings. Enough said. Don't EVER challenge this guy to a trivia contest in your lifetime. Best trivia player of all time. OUT.

  • Pat Sajak. What the fuck?

  • Comment removed

  • ken jennings!!... i wonder what a solid childhood he must have had !!

  • This gameshow sucks...the questions are incredibly retarded.

  • I think you're just retarded.

  • BEAST

  • Gahh! i was soo happy when ken won :D

    this was an awesome show!!

  • "Switch."

    "Switch back."

    ahahahaha!!

  • How did Jennings know the Roman numeral question without hearing the rest of it?

  • Obviously there is a screen on each side so contestants can read the questions as the host asks them.

  • What channel is this on, I have never heard of this show before, it seems very interesting.

  • gsn, if you have time warner cable, its 162

  • nice i the one question right in like 2 seconds the candy pie one i knew it was apple

  • I was hoping for Ken vs John, but he didn't use his switch.

  • lol 2:01 "wooah"

  • How the fuck did he get Pat Sajak so fast???

  • EXACTLY WHAT I JUST SAID lmao.

  • haha.. seriously..

  • Those guys are literally geniuses, I can't think that fast and I don't even know that much.

  • lol ken is freakn god..

  • thats insane super smart guys

  • This was a very exciting match. Ken seemed very sharp here & very focused answering those questions right away. Ogi seemd to give up after the contemporary knowledge round & never recovered as he answered after the question finished. The winner here (Won't Spoil it) desvered to win since it was all about the knowldge & played the game very well. Is this winner the best game show player' maybe but is certainly up there. This match was very exciting & was a very exciting tournament. 5 stars all.

  • Get over it, Ken did the same thing, which you'll see if you watch his previous rounds.

  • STRATEGY

  • .......and they were about to kiss at the end

  • haha, a double switch on candy apple pie, lol.

  • I was thinking the same thing, lol. That was like one of the only questions I knew in that round too, lol.

  • Ken got that Dylan Thomas one around 1:05 so fucking fast it blew my mind. I swear to God I didn't even hear the question and Ken's saying Dylan Thomas.....that bastard!

  • They looked like they were gonna kiss

  • So sweet to see Ogi OWNED after the way he handled himself against Rutter.

  • Omfg

Ken Jennings is like invincible when it comes to the word puzzle stuff.

  • You can tell Brad Rutter was rooting for Ken. Which makes a lot of sense, knowing how Ogi acted after beating Brad.

  • ken jenning's immortal now

  • PAT SAJAK! wtf!?

  • ken is smart as hell

  • wow guy is smart

  • @omega5811 WELL DUH

  • WELL DUH

  • big surprise, eh

although its not really fair seeing how ken jennings has 2 brains.

  • Only 2?

  • hm, both men are undoubtedly incredibly bright, and even though ken won, I value Ogi's type of intellect more.

His logic is superior to ken's. So what if ken can parrot random facts-- ogi's sharpness is something that can't be gained from sheer studying time.

  • Ogi's time left on the math section was less than a second. Not much of an edge there.

  • You can hear in Ogi's voice his confidence was crushed after the contemporary knowledge round. It's nothing like how he started the match.

  • wow....the guy didn't even finish the pat sajak question and ken still got it

  • I was nicely surprised Ogi made it all the way to the final round, but he was kidding himself if he thought he could beat Ken Jennings.

  • If that were the case, don't you think that that would be just a little illegal?

Oh wait, that's highly illegal. Heard of the quiz show scandals of the 1950s?

Such an event had and would simply destroy America's confidence in quiz shows--and was instrumental back in the 1960s in the creation of Jeopardy!

  • Who's to decide it's illegal? It was just an alteration of the rules. It wasn't a rule specific to Ken (Victor would have annihilated), so it can't be called illegal.

  • Congress, actually, decided it was illegal back in the 50s and passed laws affirming that.

Not just rule changes are illegal--any influence in any way or form--such as giving Ken good questions, or giving Victor bad questions, would have been already illegal. Watch closely. Victor's match against Ken was the closest out of Ken's matches, and Victor only gave up once Ken spelled "abominable" backwards like a machine gun. Despite the fact that Victor had two switches, he decided not to use them.

  • They didn't change the rules midway through, they were established before the series began. That's not illegal. And I don't see how the Ken vs Victor match has anything to do with the topic.

  • Uhh...you brought up Victor's game earlier.

I also said earlier: The contract for Grand Slam stated that they might add another 1-3 rounds for general knowledge during the semifinals and finals. Every contestant KNEW that, it was written in EVERYONE'S contract. Not just Ken's, not just Brad's, but everyone's contract.

However, they didn't place it in until the finals due to time constraints on taping. Most of Grand Slam was taped in a single night.

  • I was making a comment about Victor's proficiency in contemporary knowledge. The whole point is they altered the rules for the American version with a new category that favored Ken. It was decided before the series began, so it's not illegal, and if the contract said "they might add another 1-3 rounds for general knowledge", then that's very vague. If Ogi had known there would have definitely been a contemporary knowledge round, he would've known he would need to study up.

  • I double-click by accident way too often.

  • Ogi did very well making it to the end answering 94 out of 135 questions correctly. Ken answered 90 out of 113 questions correctly giving him the trophy and $100,000.

  • Didn't take long for Denise Miller the Loser to kill this show off like he did MNFootball.

  • Ken closed shop

  • The Final Question:

Is Dennis Miller tapping that (co-host)?

    My vote: Hell yes.

  • Wow Ken barely heard the question when he answered the Pat Sajak question...

  • they can read the questuions

  • yeah i know they can, but I was just commenting on Ken's ability to think fast and predict what the answer is.

  • TOO. MANY. POP-CULTURE QUESTIONS!

  • wow, how did he get pat sajak(?) so quickly?

  • Well, what other person has S as the first letter and A and K as the fourth and fifth letter respectively as a last name?

  • You just can't mess with Ken Jennings. However, it would have been interesting to see a Rutter rematch!

  • Eh, Rutter can't do math for crap. As Ogi said in his match, "Brad does math like a little girl." Brad's not great with words, either, so Ken would have destroyed him there. Brad's just a knowledge guy.

  • How the hell did Ken do that math problem at 1:57- 2:00 in three seconds. Thats retarded

  • I dont understand why it is retarded..

  • Because its figgin hard... ohhh i forgot u r so stuck up with your self that u know everything

  • i dont know what it has to do with me knowing something.. but i still dont understand why you refer 'hard' to 'retard', plus im not being disrespectful in anyway from my previous reply and i dont know everything.. sorry if i offended you, peace

  • I mean that it is reatarded.. not that hes a retard.. its retarded that hes so smart.. and any previous comments on my behalf are apologized for

  • i know your not refering to jenning, you are refering to his intellect, but using 'retarded' as a definition is kinda weird. Try changing the word to 'sophisticated' or 'impossible', makes more sense. again, sorry if i've offended you

  • Apology acceppted and here "Ken Jennings intellect on that particular question was utterly fascinating"

  • there you go, makes more sense now

  • lol!! THanks, even though in future occasions i may refer amazing to retarded.. lol

  • honestly, just because who you wanted to win didn't doesn't make it a conspiracy. I was rooting for ogi too, but im not whining. And if it really was a conspiracy, don't you think it would have been obvious to someone other than you? Someone who could have done something about it? These gameshows aren't completely fixed you know...

  • No one wanted Ogi to win. It would have been a disaster if all that hype about Ken had been shot down by a cocky bastard like Ogi. Ken is vastly more likable. And who can prove anything? All they did was add a new category that Ogi had no chance with. That's all they had to do, and that's not illegal. There's a very simple question that no one's answered sufficiently: Why the new category all of a sudden?

  • If you watched the first two rounds, it was very close but Ogi won both those rounds

  • The new category was specified in the initial contract, saying that in semifinals and the finals, they might add 1-3 such rounds. Time constraints for taping, however, precluded the addition of extra rounds until the finals.

Adding a general knowledge round just to make Ken win is still highly illegal. An independent Standards and Practices board for every game show review and sign off on the shows, and if S&P even detect one hint of interference or cheating , they'd be all over it.

  • people can say its fixed, ken is a friggin genius i knew a lot more ogi answers out of the five rounds than the ken ones, y did ogi always switch back after ken switched? he didnt know that shit either so dont even try and say its fixed

  • Switching back is called strategy. If Ken doesn't know it the first time, he won't know it the second time around either.

  • he did it as a way to save time so he didn't have to think and to try to subtract more time off of ken's clock no matter how little it seemed to be.

  • wow

  • OMG! crazy!!

  • wtf? i dont think i was talking to you and dont remember why i even said that whatever

  • You say it yourself - Ogi is an underdog. That means it shouldn't be a surprise that Ken Jennings won. Just because the results don't conform to a storybook finish for the underdog doesn't mean there is a conspiracy to see Ken win. Give me a break.

  • Ken lost the first two rounds and had an advantage in the final round due to the new category. Wow, that was complicated. Are you stupid?

  • ken jennings is pure and none of these were fixed.

  • your an idiot and should think before you open your mouth

  • Getting upset, are we?

  • no he's merely stating the fact that you are a moron

  • You do realize you're replying to a year-old comment, right?

  • so? the video may be up and running for a century people will still comment on it if they want

  • ...Uh, so, you're trolling a year-old comment. That's something someone sane typically doesn't do. Are you stupid?

  • no matter how old your comment is, it doesn't change the fact that it was, is and will always be moronic.

  • why cant the game be based on how many rounds you win? what is this bs about adding seconds to the last round.

  • Ok Ken wins even if they just play most rounds won. He would have won if both of the players started with 1 minute in the last round and they were 2-2 before round 5. Makes no diffy lol.

  • wow that shit is crazy

  • GO KEN JENNINGS! After round 3, I felt really comfortable with the idea that he was gonna win, now I'm glad he did. He's just flat out awesome. I suppose we have to thank Ogi for giving Ken good competition.

  • He's an obnoxious idiot. I can't believe he still gets work.

  • Ogi was on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, though, and that has a decent number of pop culture questions. He should have done okay on those.

  • another thing: there were some pop culture questions in the final round also. even taking those out, it seems ken would be the winner. BUT...this game is also about momentum, and one wonders what would have happened if ogi's momentum had not been stopped so abruptly. there's a huge psychological component. we will never know!

  • ken rules... and he's a good sport, unlike ogi

  • Ogi has an unrivaled fist pump though.

  • i thought ogi was gracious in his runner up interview.

  • Jennings would have won the contest regardless. Ogi didnt make up any gorund on Ken in this round.

  • TREMENDOUS play by Jannings! Now I want to see a "Win Jen Jennings' Money" on the Comedy Channel.
