I bought the new album by the Decemberists a couple months ago (having never really heard of them) from Starbucks, purely based on the cover and song titles and haven't really been able to put it down. Also, most people who know me know I am a HUGE Pogues fan. Infact, The Pogues are the only band I've ever travelled any distance to see (Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Boston 3 times). This video was a pleasant surprise!

Colin's an awesome lyricist and musician. I didn't know that the Decemberists were influenced by the Pogues. I like them more now because of it. And now I know that I can't say Colin hasn't a good taste in music.
