Mexican prince Caspian of Tijuana was a horrific mistake made by the producer ! I cannot believe Brits ended up putting a Mexican in the main role, lol ! His accent bothered me so much during watching the film, that I just had to pause it and write this. To my amazement, hundreds of people noticed this too and wrote reviews all over the internet. Have a Taco on G-Caspian !

Actually Ben Barnes isn't Spanish. He faked the accent. I think he's actually English.

He is not mexican, he's actually british. He learned a spanish accent for the film.

They did it because it says in the book that the pirates who became telmarines were actually spanish. But also in the book, CS Lewis specified that Caspian was 'a golden haired boy'. Disney and Walden chose to go with what was in their minds the more logical choice.

It's all a matter of opinion on the casting of Caspian, really.

I like Ben as Caspian, if I do say so myself.

I agree. I don't know why people were so bothered by the spanish accent. It just gives him more character if you ask me. I liked that the Telmarines were sort of Spanish-like. It just made the whole movie more intreguing and the character of Prince Caspian more outstanding as a unique individual. lol.

@ybsimple Dont you think your being a bit rude. Firstly they didnt put a mexican in the main role. Ben Barnes ( which is so a traditional mexcian name btw) is english he put on the accent considering the Telmarines are spanish. So I'd do your research next time you go kicking off, as you make yourself look really foolish.
