The best thing to do is go to a piercer and let them take it out if you feel it is being rejected, because it could not be and it could just be a false alarm, but if it is then they can clean the area and take it out correctly to minimize any bacteria entering the wound. If a piercing is noticeably rejecting, taking it out early will minimize scarring. x
Hay, umm I got mine done with a stainless steel bar and it was red straight after she pierced it and after 2 months I could tell it was coming out and I just let it fall out in like the 3rd month. And I got mine done about a month ago with stainless steel again they did it behind the scar and it is turning out good, (:

@Nanulla186 It all depends on the person because everyone is different. For example I had my Daith pierced for a little while, and one day it looks like it was being rejected - Within 24 hour it was rejected out of my ear. At the same thing however, when a piercing is healed, more of the bar is shown because the swelling has down down and you then change to a shorter bar. If you have any concern then go back to the piercer and they can have a look at it! x

Hi :) I just took out my belly button ring today & I'm super sad about it! I had it for 6 months & cleaned it properly. It started to migrate slowly to the point where it look like it was about to reject it. The barbell looked longer & near the bottom hole I could see the metal & it looked like there was only thin skin above the piercing. I am definitely going back to get it done again, this time with titanium. If it migrated/rejected the first time do you think it will the second time around?

hi. quick question, iv had my belly button peirced 2x so far and both times it has rejected. talking to the person hu peirced it she said that sometimes it does it with no known reason just because. first time was with the steel ones they provide had it for (3months), the 2nd time was with bioplast and it rejected faster (1-2months). i was cleaning them each day religously and it stil happend.

Helloo, Just a quick question , i got my belly button pierced about 9 months ago, and its only recently healed, I've been cleaning it daily (twice a day) however, the skin between each of the 2 holes (top and bottom) has become very thin and so the belly bar is very lose. I've heard that this is because the piercer has not pierced it deep enough? could this be correct? is so could it be re-pierced if it seems that the hole in the inside is healed? Thank you so much x

1) I would wait about 1-2 months to be 100% sure it has healed,
2) There will be a little scar-tissue that formed on it, but it doesnt hurt much more. Also if you used sterling silver for the 1st piercing, it could have been rejected because of the following reasons,
a) maybe u weren't cleaning it enough?
b) ur body didn't want that type of medal on that part of ur body, so instead try titanium or bioplast :)

My piercer wasnt professional enough she told me to clean it for only 2 weeks and then she changed the belly ring a month later it has been pierced and maybe because of my clothes. And my lil bro hit me on my belly ring and it really hurt and it got rejected after that.
i loooove your hair, it suits you soo much! my bellybutton developed a keloid and i put tea tree oil on it but the tea tree oil cracked the end of my acrylic barbell ball, so my belly ring came out in the night when i was sleeping (because i didnt know it had cracked) and now its been about a month and i have this horrible pink bump where the piercing used to be :S i was wondering if it will ever fade so i can get it again later on :P thankyou so much for the great videos!
@FluffyPasta Hey! ohhh I've heard that somewhere before, I am not 100% sure whether the tea tree affects the acrylic, then again I don't have any body jewelry that has acrylic on it plus I'm allergic to tea tree so I wouldn't know from a personal experience either. I've tried to look it up for you *that's why my response is a little late* but I couldn't find anything I'm sorry :(

@uhsaywhat Never give up girl! Try bio-plast jewelery or PTFE. Most places would have bio-plast but you might need to buy PTFE jewelery online.
