Actually stormtroopers are the extension of the emperors will. Loyal to the end to the will of the empire nameless soulless faceless guardians of order and law. The clones were property not citizens.

Did you know that the clones aren't the storm troopers??? The storm troopers are ordinary citizens of the empire just defending what they think is right.
