Randomness rocks - though find it hard to believe some of these didn't make it into your vids - they had me literally laughing out loud - esp when you lost your 'hair' at the end. I could have sworn though I've seen those dogs before. And nice icon pic - intentional? LOL.

The hair thing at the end *is* in a video of mine, but only a very small slice of it where I give the thumbs up and say "2007, Year Of The Crazy Person, Rock On!!!" This clip here however showed a couple of different looks and hair/hat adjustments. I once did a "Car Dogs" video which I took down for music copyright reasons. I shot the dog clip during that time but it wasn't in that video so this is the first time I've shown it. And ya, I shuffled things around to get the icon, LOL.

Thanks Marianne! Good to see you too! Yep that was on the same trail. Only I wound up deciding they were laurels instead of rhododendrons. I don't think they have quite as showy a bloom as a rhododendron. I promised you a vid of them blooming one or two springs ago and never got around to it. I'll have to try harder this spring!!!

While I was a member of the birthday party I personally wasn't the birthday boy:)) I was zoomed in at over 10X for that shot so it was hard to keep my camera still. I think we both made fewer vids in 2008 than 2007 so ya I guess it has been the Year of the Lazy People. I think I feel a lazy decade coming up, LOL.

Thanks Lesley! I best liked the part where I was zoomed in on the balloons from a long distance. A rare case where a little blurryness and shakyness added to the look I things:) I'm glad you liked it. I didn't know if anyone else would share my appreciation for the weird look of it. The fish footage was shot from an enclosed skywalk over a river between a casino and it's hotel. I didn't mute any sound. Any artsyness was pure happenstance:)) Cont.

Back when so many people went to LiveVideo I did an interview video with Kyhell which is where the "Slender Thread" thing came from. I never sent him the footage because it was soooooo long and I always felt a little uneasy answering questions about my feelings about LiveVideo because I was so new there and frankly never fully embraced the site. However, there were a couple of answers which I might eventually post here. And there's NO WAY my randomness is better than your final cut!!!

Thanks Cookie! I liked that first set of blinkers the best because of how they all seemed to line up in close proximity to each other. I didn't have to add any sound effects. That was the sound from my vans blinker, (which I raised the volume on a bit)

Thanks Zulu! It said "Tube Rentals". People rent inner tubes for floating down a small nearby river across the road from where I filmed this. I don't think business was very good this past summer because the drought cut the river flow wayyyy back.
