But with Mir being much stronger now Lesnar would likely have problems doing what he did last time.

You can't compare fighting an amateur 155lbs kickboxer in a ring to fighting a 240lbs professional mixed martial artist in an octagon. No im not going to come out with bullshit stories of 'imaginary fights' but my sparring partner is 190lbs who is in the marines in top physical shape (he does atleast 3 hours training a weekday) and in a freak accident i got knee'd in the face full force.

Im fine with both, I just prefer he stick to what he's best at when its somewhat obvious his opponent is a better striker. I love watching Mir fight, he's my favorite heavyweight has been since I first seen him. He lets his confidence overide his skill though. His striking is great but someone like JDS would put him to sleep should he test those waters without a game plan. I don't count Carwin as outstriking him, that was just a shitty gameplan on Mir's part.

@Scamceno Well yeah, I mean hes a hell out of a grappler but I personally think his striking is very good as well, in a way that can battle strikers like JDS if maybe he tuned his striking skills a little more, I would like to watch some kind of more pure Kenpo showcased. @kevinzk71 Oh I don't doubt his striking is very good. Like I said he screws himself sometimes because of his gameplans. He can strike with the best but JDS specifically is the best striker in the division Next to probably Overeem. Mir would be smarter to use his hands to get people into his world where nobody in the division could touch him save for a monster wrestler like Lesnar. But with Mir being much stronger now Lesnar would likely have problems doing what he did last time.

I agree with you but im thinking of what Mir is now, rather then how he can improve. He could very well improve his striking but he's not nearly as evasive as Machida. Plus he has to worry about these bigger guys who can KO you with 1 punch that doesn't even have to land clean. Hopefully he does fine tune his striking so he can be the agresser more. We will see, I hope Mir can get another title shot soon though.
