I've compared this same movement played by Janine Jansen and Perlman, and although I've got nothing to say about Ms. Jansen's performance, there's nobody as Perlman... he's the Master, he's able to make you feel with every simple note!
Cannot resist the temptation of listening to this wonderful performance again and again. My remarks remain the same as before. It is superb Mozartian composition with matching superb performance.
It is not all smiles! It has that underlying finesse and a heightened expression of pathos. Smiles and tears - a rare and most difficult combination of emotions typical of Mozart. Please notice and I would appreciate comments.
this is the 1st movement, right?

Hi, which part is the cadenza? Thanks for your patience; I don't know anything about music, but I hope to learn something.

Can anyone tell me which cadenza he's playing?
petrof4056 1 year ago
@petrof4056 According to amazon, it's Itzhak Perlman's own creation.

Some of the best violin playing I've ever heard hands down.

How right you are and how coincidental. Indeed, one of the best violin playing. Hope many will agree.

I believe only Wiener Philharmoniker can understand the true spirit of Mozart to be able to perform this piece so well.
