Been back to gladstone for about the 1st time in 15 years this week with my kids,they loved it i loved it and have now ot a yearly pass to go whenever we want.well worth a visit.

I worked there for quite some years on the museum staff - it was great to see the old place again. The last time I saw it was when it was on TV for a Time Team episode and they interviewed my old 'boss' (the Curator).

Thanks for adding this. My Great Great Grandad worked at Gladstone, his daughter my Great Grandmother would take him his lunch and woe be tide her if she was late , she would get a smack.
