The real name is Nouvelle-Calédonie in French. Yeah! Its amazing place, you sould go!

English Schools? = NO

Seriously, it's expensive and jobs are not readily available.

It is expensive, but my experience is that jobs are not hard to find if you want to work you will. The language is the only reason that I have not moved. But most people do speak some english. GOOD LUCK

Oh god you poor thing for missing out. I went there with my french class and it was absolutely gorgeous. I think winter is the best time because otherwise its too hot but its absolutely gorgeous there

Gomenasai Mikasan, I was on holiday in Australia. Yes, I live there, was born there too :-) Have actually worked to Alpha International (Cox and Kings Ltd) for 4 years in the late 90's, so I was handling bookings from travel agencies in Japan.... ne!
