The 360 shown in the video is actually my second 360. I had an original Xbox 360 from when they first came out, that RROD, then I got that Elite, it RROD, and now on my current Elite, it has yet to get the RROD, 'cept for one time when it was just telling me my harddrive wasn't connected properly.

They don't actually send you the same 360, they send a replacement 360.

Anywho, I wouldn't really worry about it.

Keep your Xbox in an open area, circulate the air, and don't put it on a carpet, and it SHOULD be fine. I put a fan behind my 360's to blow away any hot hair coming up behind it, due to my room is small, and theres not much room from the behind of my 360, to the wall.

Well, having it on a cardbox box doesn't really matter I don't think. Just, don't place the console onto carpet.

And I hear it's better to have your 360 flat. And, for me... it's better to have flat anyways. I don't think it matters honestly though.

And the Arcade is worth it if you don't plan on buying lots of actual games, and if you don't plan on downloading anything from Xbox LIVE.
