I agree with you a 100%-I have the same view. People look at those journals because they are empty minded and get sidetracked. It is similar to watching TV shows/drama on tele. They don't think-they don't have to worry about their lives for a brief second. They live in someone elses shoes, imagine what it's like etc.etc. Just in this case, instead of watching soap operas, they look through celebrity shit. It makes them feel better to see someone get shitted on.
