@blackdraft1 inside a Tank it is a nightmere when in Combat. Modernday tanks like the Challenger, leo2 and Abrams all all air condition. But back then, the sound of Machine Gun fire, main gun fire and recoil, the radio opperater shouting, the Commander barking orders Loader hauling shells in and out, and incoming fire, the tank movement, and other sounds all add up to an amazing experience. did i mention it gets Extremely hot in there?

@Henryk516 There were massive SAM bateries, so massive that the pilots knew that they could not take evasive action against so many. the airforce only came into full force onse the supply of missiles decreased.

@HeyHey1201 Syrians lost, and had to rely on us in the USA to stop Israel from capturing Damascas. Israel was within shooting range of the capital which would have fallen.

If you take a spring next to your eye spread it out and knock down some objects, you could pretend you had a victory. Then again when the spring snaps you lose your eye and you still wish to celebrate victory?

@studenthistory Well.. I disagree with you , you know why Israel stopped encroaching into Damascus? Because the Syrians army attended gang war, that means hit and run (infantry war) . And the Syrians was more brave to fight because if they lost they will be occupied from Israeli-ans , then the Israelis decided to stop moving into Syrian lands because they will lose all their army (infantries) and they also falled back to Al-Quniterah because they have been forced to.

@looxgood i agree with you. tho dont forget that every battle fought by any allied army during ww2 made the victory. example. during the battle of kursk . allied forces invaded sicily and forced hitler to redraw forces from kursk and move them to italy wich gave the russians the advantage. then d day occured wich ment hitler had to bring forces from russia to western europe. hitler shouldve never invaded russia that was his biggest mistake.

There's so much to cover from the Battle of France, Operation Barbarossa to the Pearl Harbor attack and subsequent astonishing Japanese drive to Southeast Asia territories.

Couldn't overconfidence be part of the problem? Soviets where pretty sure, that their tanks sold to Arabs are better, while Isreal old American and UK made old junk.

Also don't underestimate Arabs too, Soviet guys were amazed by skills of some Sirian fighter pilots, however that may be because Soviets were very restrictive at high pilotage figures at that time, intended to avoid accidents, which in turn backfired in increased number of accidents caused by lack of skill, what a sad irony.

This whole series is shit, all it's WWII Battles are allied engagements, there isnt even fucking mention of Kursk or anything on the eastern front, even going as far as making false statements saying that the Allies fought the single largest armoured engagement. I'm not surprised however, seeing as it's just an American/NATO biased program.

and how ever You are correct that most of this Biased footage is mentioned that They Faught the Biggest Battle, Arracourt is indeed the Biggest Tank Battle in Normandy, Yet it is Nothing Compared to that of a Tank Squimish on the Russian Front.

@ThePanzerWarMachine I agree that Kursk is the biggest tank battle the world has ever seen however it was a set piece battle on both side's where as Arracourt was probably the biggest fluid tank battle, I'll admit that i'm not sure about that though. Considering that the allies in normandy didn't know that the german's where about to attack before hand is why i say this. Where as at Kursk the Russian's had before hand knowledge about that battle.

And the Gulf war, the largest armor engagement during that was also not the largest in history , it was the largest that AMERICA Involved itself in.

alright but the slim amount of artillery would not really affect the Israeli tankers because their Syrian artillery was poorly trained so they are probably going to be off by a lot

And yes they could do that, albiet they would probably run into air defenses. At this point, the IAF was still trying to figure out how to counter the much-improved air defenses the Syrians and the Egyptians were employing. They most certainly could reduce the arty fire, but they wouldn't be able to eliminate it.
