    He has three 45 lb plates on each side of the bench bar. Six multiplied by 45 equals 270, which leaves a difference of 45 lbs.

  • Yes. Keep your feet stable on the ground and your back arched and on the bench. The Kid's form could use some work and he needs lighting but a good lift

  • Guys, his form is actually pretty good. Powerlifters are SUPPOSED to arch. Set up was good, arch was good.  The only slight problem I see is that he flares his elbows out a little about mid-way through the lift (they should be tucked a little more). Good lift though.

  • ur meant to arch on bench??? Cuz i've heard mixed opinions. I know that at most bench press competitions that your head, shoulders, and lower back must stay on the bench with ur feet planted on the ground.

  • is your ass on the bench? for plifting, is it thighs or ass on bench? cause it looks like some lifters have their upper thighs/lower ass touching and thats it.
