  • can u make doughnuts without yeast

  • @202diggy Donuts with YEast are called raised Donuts, completely different texture. You must not be from the States, as there are all types of Donuts. Just vist Crispy Creme or Dunkin or Winchell's donuts.

  • who beats an egg with a spoon lol

  • I laughed too! but he tried to teach so give him an E for effort!

  • LOL, why doesn't the United States stop using cups and just convert to metric, it makes 1000x more sense to me.

  • because we will be the first to use cubes

  • you made this vid 1 day be4 my b day

  • ya made this vid 2 days before ma b-day

  • why do u use grams can u just use cups

  • 225g is about 1/4 cup 25g is around 1 tbsp and caster sugar is Icing sugar. Like the rest of the civilized world he's metric

  • caster sugar is not icing sugar

  • Because only the States use cups, the rest of the world uses grams.

  • cuz not everyone has a scale

  • @Goes40us I live in Australia and we use cups too but we also use grams

  • @Goes40us I saw a video with a guy in Australia using cups :)

  • you have a fantastic accent ;) lol

  • what are the measurments equal to like 225 grams is how many cups?

  • your cook skills are fun :D ty for the vid

  • you have to add to liquid to it in parts to prevent clumps, right?

  • Okay, this may sound dumb, but I have to ask anyway, lol. Um, why does flour have to be sifted before going in the mixing bowl? Why not just dump the flour in?

  • just makes the flour finer. The cake / doughnut will have a smoother texture.

  • Oh.

  • Cool rise method >will not work with yeast raised doughnuts, thought i'd save you some time.

  • the reason why you add milk a little at a time is because each batch of flour you use will vary in the amount it absorbs. I've found when making pizza especially, the measurement of liquid i use is always different, even though i always use the same brand of flour. i hope that helped!

  • a good place to put dough to rise is the frige becuase the cool helps it grow better

  • A cool rise, also known as a refrigerator rise, is when yeasted dough, whether shaped or unshaped, is placed in the refrigerator to rise slowly. The cold slows the yeast's activity, allowing for more flavor and an interesting texture to develop.

  • Thanks!

  • must the milk be warm??..pls reply

  • UK (well i was born there and live there anyway) otherwise both parents are persian

  • cool...what type of yeast do you use tho?

  • um shouldn't you activate the yeast first?

  • I understood that doughnuts would be made in oven, but in part II you fried them. Would you explain me what I misunderstood? Thanks a lot
