So is this place all torn down??? if not can u tell us how to get in? we are ghost hunters looking to investigate!!!! if u are ever in taunton mass. u have to chck out paul devers state school....the security is a joke and lazy asses and the building and tunnels are soooo easy to get in! walk right thru the doors! stupid asses they are.....great place with atleast a few miles of open tunnels and access to every bulding!

For all those Urbexing people.......You guys think this is hard to get into ...try coming to maryland where we have St. elizabeths insane asylum, Glenn Dale teberculosis hopital, Forest Haven Asylum, Henryton Hospital, Crownsville Mental Hospital and all the places in Ellicott City. Those are literally impossible to get in.. but I successed. Def worth the trip.A MUST SEE

@fourpointohh The wife and I stayed at a B&B in Preston last weekend and we drove past NSH on Sunday and Monday. Talk about being one creepy-looking array of buildings..even during the day. At night it's completely dark in that area as street lights are practically absent along that stretch of road. We saw a security guard entering the first building Monday night armed with only a flashlight. Not my idea of a good time :)

The admdistration building has some beutiful wood work what a shame to see this building in such poor shape. I love old buildings and it pisses me off when old buildings are left to set and rot its very sad.

I made the mistake of getting caught by security on the grounds at Norwich. Make sure you take the railroad tracks in to avoid these guys. They will call the troopers and you will be arrested.

I havent been there in a few years but what I do remember is security knows the place in and out and will go into the buildings.

It is a pretty crazy place. In 2003 me and 3 navy buddies went in there for like 4 hours just exploring. Down in the corner of one of the lower rooms we found what looked like a puddle of animal blood! There are pictures (done by the mentally ill) all over the walls in the bowling alley. I wouldn't go back there again that place is just creepy.

Nice! Good ol' Norwich. Lot of fun. Only thing disappointing is how Admin look so cool from the outside but the only cool thing inside is the marble staircase. Nice video though.
