Finally some straight forward truth on this subject.

Maybe you should ask the Father to stop healing people in the name of Jesus, as it's confusing people like yourself, that believe that they know better than Him. I was miraculously healed of car crash injuries by way of two dreams, given to two different people (2 Cor 13:1) whereby the name of Jesus was audibly manifested.

Dreams are uncontrollable. Joel 2:28-29.

Just as Yohanan in the Hebrew becomes 'Ioannes' in the Greek, becomes 'John' in the English, becomes 'Jean' in the French, and 'Juan' in the Spanish. So too, does Yehosua / Yeshua in the Hebrew, becomes Iesous in the Greek, becomes 'Jesus' in the later transliteration, as the English language has progressed.

If you don't understand this, then it's not a problem, because The Father most assuredly does. See my miraculous healing on my site, whereby the Father used the name of Jesus in a dream!

To-this-day proper names do not translate, titles translate depending on their importance. The more important a title the more likely it remains the same in translation. For example......

@EZ570 Your modern day comparisons don't hold any water. The lingua franca in the Middle East in the times of Yeshua/ Jesus was Greek, not Hebrew. There is no 'sh' sound in the Greek alphabet, so the nearest that they could come phonetically was Ἰησοῦς Iesous. This had already been done through the Septuagint penned by Hebrew scholars that were bilingual in Hebrew & Greek 200 years before the Messiah came to Earth. Yehoshua (Joshua) = Ἰησοῦς Iesous = Jesus.

@adysaxman77 Funny how the Aramaic pronounciation of Satan and the modern english pronounciation is nearly the same, Yet the inaccuracy of pronouncing the Messiah's name is so acceptable for you. Had you ever worked at the State Department you would know the effort put forth to pronounce and correctly spell even third rate foreign dignitarie's names. Yehoshua and Jesus are not equal as any Hebrew will tell you that "Jesus" has no Hebrew meaning.

@EZ570 Nearly the same, but NOT the same, and like I said in my last post, there is no 'sh' sound in the Greek language. Satan, has no 'sh' sound so it doesn't surprise me at all that they are 'nearly the same'. Even in the Hebrew language, accents controlled the ability to pronounce certain words, 42,000 Ephraimites were slain because they couldn't pronounce 'Shibboleth' with an 'h'. See Judges 12:5-6. I doubt very much that they could have pronounced Yehoshua either, being Hebrew!

What you reiterate is only the best provided excuse taught in theological institutions for an improper name transformation that blind future Hebrews from faith

@EZ570 You can bet all you like, the fact remains that they couldn't pronounce a 'sh' sounding word and they were Hebrews themselves. As for the Greeks they didn't have a 'sh' sound in their language. Do you know how the Septuagint came about? Even Josephus regarded it to be divinely inspired, There was a copy next to the Torah scroll in the Temple, whereby the Jews of the diaspora (that only knew Greek) could read from. The Jewish rulers allowed the Septuagint translation. Matthew 23:2-3.

The blood of all the righteous from Hebel to Zekar'Yah bar Berek'Yah be upon them. The leaders of the house of corruption and murder. These are the ones whom you extol as worthy to allow and promote the Septuagint translation?

@EZ570 Not really, the high priest (Eleazer) that gave the thumbs up to the translation from Hebrew to Greek, did this c.250 years before the ones that Yeshua/ Jesus delivered the 'woes' to, but the one thing that they did have in common was that they both sat in 'Moses' seat'. Therefore, it was right that the scribes that carried out the translation of the Hebrew Scriptures into the Greek language, did what they were ordered to do by the serving High Priest.

The Ruach Ha Kadosh opened my eyes to the plethera of lies and deceptions taught as truth in the "mother harlot" of Rev. 17. The protestant movement did remove many of these, but no matter how many schisms occur they prophically remain harlots. I seek Biblical truth. Answer the question of Joel 2:32; Romans 10:12; Acts 2:21~ what is the correct name of God?

@EZ570 I wasn't brought up in any religious bondage, I wasn't indoctrinated by my parents. Joel = Yahweh, Romans & Acts = in the Greek.... Ἰησοῦς Iesous = Jesus in my own language. It's as if you want to limit the power of the Almighty through a language. As I've already testified, and I reiterate... I was miraculously healed by way of two dreams given to two different people, namely, my father-in-law Phil, and myself. The name of Jesus was used in both, audibly. What else can I say?

Many Biblical healings occured to people who did not know the correct name of their Messiah, just his reputation that preceded him. In seeking truth one has to use your given gifts of discernment between truth and deception, common sense, ability to read and comprehend what is written ect. What is "good enough understanding" becomes truth for apathetic individuals. Read 9:18-26

@EZ570 if you go to my site and see the video 'Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8) you will note that on my testimony of healing (which was typed soon after the event in 2004) that I was using the name 'Yashua' for the Son of God. This would have been THE ideal time to cement my belief in this name, but instead, I was supernaturally healed by God, by the name of JESUS! Therefore, why, would I ever deny that name???

(See it matters to your Messiah to know his correct name and title, because desire of that knowledge provides a blessing from YHVH). Those in the Synagogue at Nat'zareth thought they new him Luke 4:20; Matt.13:55; Mark 6:1 but were self decieved. The name/words was changed to suit the traditions of men Matt. 15:6-9 keeping this prophecy filled.

God understands this, and He heals people (myself included) by the wonderful Name of Jesus all around the world, even as I write down these words! Could it be the great harlot, the mother of harlots, and her daughters, who are also harlots? HARLOT=Prostitute=corrupt church= money for services(and those services are lies and deceptions taught as truth)

@EZ570 Tell me, have you ever cast a demon out of anyone? Demons flee at the name of Jesus, and they can't bare to hear about the blood of Jesus. The Messiah said that a kingdom divided against itself will be desolate (Matt 12:25-29). So tell me, is Satan dividing his kingdom with the name of Jesus? If it's by the Spirit of God, then you need to take care of what you teach. Proverbs 30:4 doesn't specify for the names in Hebrew.

@adysaxman77 ~Perhaps Satan is intending to decieve many by changing the Messiah's name claiming that the Greeks were incapable of pronouncing a "sh" sound(which is a pathetic excuse) and calling it progress. The Bible (Prov. 30)would not ask such a question if it was so stupid simple to answer. I'm not asking anyone to learn Hebrew, just the Hebrew name of your heavenly father and his only begotton Son's Hebrew name, who suffered and died for us. We owe him that.

I've already proved through the Word of God that 42,000 Ephraimites died because of their INABILITY to pronounce the 'sh' sound in their very own HEBREW word 'Shibboleth'. Yet, you doubt that the Greeks couldn't pronounce it, and the 'sh' sound wasn't even in their language! Have you ever heard the Chinese try to pronounce 'rice'??? There's no 'R' in their language, so they use the nearest sounding, in their own tongue = WICE !*!*!

Because some people don't swim doesn't mean that they can't swim, they would require more practice than others to attain proficiency. One Chinese person that does pronounce rice correctly would disprove your false conclusion. Enunciating wice is a "good enough understanding" pronounciation for the apathetic, yet you can conclude its inaccuracy.

If enunciating wice is a 'good enough understanding' for the Chinese which have no 'R' in their language, then how come Iesous is not 'good enough' when it was originally given to us by bilingual Hebrew scholars c250 B.C, that knew full-well that there was no 'sh' sounding in the Koine Greek in which they could converse and write fluently. Accomplishing this (all 72 of them) in segregation from one another!

What's swimming got to do with talking? Jewish scholars first translated the Torah into Koine Greek c250 BC. According to the record in the Talmud, 'King Ptolemy once gathered 72 Elders. He placed them in 72 chambers, each of them in a separate one, without revealing to them why they were summoned. He entered each one's room and said: 'Write for me the Torah of Moshe, your teacher.' God put it in the heart of each one to translate identically as all the others did. Work of the devil eh?

@adysaxman77~ So 250 years before the Messiah spoke the words of Matt. 23 the Rulers of the Temple Mount were not corrupted? The Bible teaches that Mosheh recited a song (Deut.32) before the whole assembly of Israel taught to him by G-D that prophecied that the people were already a corrupt, stiff necked, rebellious lot (DEUT. 31:27-30). Their crooked desires, selfish self serving dealings, hypocritical schemes and scams, also led them to produce and promote the Septuagint translation.

Isaiah 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. God knew that the Gentiles spoke Greek, for it was He that confounded the single language... Genesis 11. The N.T was written in Greek, and God provided them with the O.T to go with it.

If Queen Elizabeth traveled around the world her name and title would remain the same, irregardless of what language was spoken. What greater name and title is there than Yahushua ha Meshiach?
