The ONLY reason why PVD sounded sooo out of this world was because the 2 sets before his were garbage. i was there i left the mainstage to see moby,and alittle of carl cox! came back waited 15 min. and saw PVD drop the BOMBS.
he always sounds out of this world..even the year i went when he followed great performances by the great oakenfold and tiesto...pvd still blew both of them out the water!!...pvd wouldve dropped bombs and blown us away regardless who was before him..the harder they come the bigger the performance hell give you..he makes sure he outshines everyone that night..thats what i love about him..

You might be right but it all depends on what you want your dj to do for you....and PVD does the work for you because he gets you pumped. Armin is more mellow which can suck if your expecting him to make you dance your ass off. Either way it is all about taste. Both are good.

He always throws in live remixes of trance, house, rock, etc. His live sets are rediculous. No one is doing what he is doing on stage. He is pushing the limits and opening the doors to the future again. The masses just haven't fully adapted yet.

I'm so frickin pissed! I was there in the 2nd row in the front and my GF started complaining she wanted water and was too hot. I feared she was going to pass out so I left & gave her water. After I left, I realized there was no way I wanted to watch van Dyke from the back of the mob, so we just left. I regret not staying and I regret going with my GF.
